Well in excess of 200 km/ph on bikes (GSXR 750) and in several vehicles. (most were on tracks)

Remember when George Carlin used to say. Everybody who drives faster than you is crazy a fucking lunatic and everybody who drives slower than you in a fucking asshole.

A girl I used to date said her pussy was speed rated for 68 because at 69 she blew a rod. Lol
On my Ninja, speedometer read 255Kph
[I think I met that girl too, she said "slow down buddy, if you go faster than 68 you're gonna wind up head over tail]

I hit 260 KMS in my Honda S2000 flying down Hwy 91 between Hwy 99 and Alex Fraser Bridge. Hadn't even put it into 6th gear when I decided it was time to take my foot off the gas pedal (160 MPH) if my math is right?

Lady Via, my panties got wet too, lol!

Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They say "more have been up Everest than gone 200 mph in a car..."
Any commercial flight hits 200 on the runway, and 500 mph in the air!
It just seems faster in a car!

^ The sensation of speed is relative. Going 200 on an open track feels slower than going 95 on a street circuit - the proximity of the concrete walls makes it feel scarier/faster. The sound bouncing off the walls adds to the sense of doom.

I've never crashed while driving high speeds.
I friken hate that place. So many places where you can screw up at high speed and pay the price by hitting the wall. ICBC has no sympathy if you wreck your car at a track either lol.

I stopped going there 3 years ago and now only go to tracks in WA and OR.

I'm thinking of heading to CA in 2015 to track one of my cars

I kind of agree the sensation of speed is the thing.

any one who has ridden on a jet plane has almost hit a thousand k, but doing it in a 767 not quite the same as an f-18 I would imagine

the most thrill or scared I ever was at speed was most likely at twenty twenty five mile per hour.

a horse spooked and bolted on me and took off at a gallop through the trees, the tree branches all seemed to be at head height not his head mine.
the sensation of speed and fear galloping through the trees was like nothing I ever felt. the immediacy of it, the fear in his eyes the roughness of his mane the wind wiping and the blur of everything passing at such a fright full pace and barely missing my head. it was the best adrenalin rush and being scared shitless at the same time.

‘Mr. Bean,’ Rowan Atkinson Selling His McLaren F1 for $15 Million

Rowan Atkinson, the British comedian, more famously known to Americans as the person who portrays the hilariously hapless ‘Mr.Bean’ has a car for sale. Now, if you are wondering if it is the rickety old green colored Mini Cooper that he is usually seen inside, you’ve got it all wrong.

Atkinson, who in real life is a car connoisseur, has, in an interview to the Telegraph, confirmed that he plans to sell his prized possession and one of the rarest cars on earth – a 1997 McLaren F1. Widely regarded to be among the wackiest sports car of all times, the McLaren F1 was the fastest production you could buy in the late ’90s. This was way before something by the name of the Bugatti Veyron came along. Atkinson was one of the lucky few who could afford to buy the McLaren F1, which back then had a sticker price of over a million dollars.

Now, if you are hoping to get a bargain price for a car that is almost 20 years old, well that is not going to happen. The price estimates for this old McLaren F1 is now in the vicinity of an astounding $15 million, according to NPR. This, in spite of the fact that it has been involved in two accidents — the last of which almost completely totaled it. The last accident reportedly happened after Atkinson lost control of the car causing it to spin around and hit a tree. The car eventually ended up on the wrong lane — and to make matters worse, it caught fire. Atkinson managed to escape the accident with just minor bruises. More surprisingly, the car managed to survive the impact and the subsequent fire — but not before Atkinson paid $1 million to get it repaired. Atkinson was also involved in another supercar accident last year.

But then, for a car that has housed several celebrities and has been inside the garage of one of the world’s best known comedians for all these years, the price of $15 million is probably worth it.

Oh and lest we forget, Atkinson’s McLaren F1 has over 41,000 miles on the odometer. Not that this is going to weigh in on your decision to buy the car.

My G 35s will go 15 mph according to Road and Track. I did have her going 110 near Shasta in California. I had my 78 Civic at over a 100 once and actually saw the number on the cop's radar. He wrote 75 on the ticket which was very cool.

I rented a Dodge Shadow prepared by Shelby for National car rentals. I pegged the speedo at 85 mph but we were probably near 120.
