I feel like we all have that one dish we cook to impress someone. You know, the first time you cook for a lover, and you want them to be taken by you? Eating together is so sensual, and I definitely enjoy showing my attraction for someone through feeding them food I've cooked.

My go-to "impress them" dish is coconut Thai mussels.

What about yours?

My two best dishes are chicken korma with rice and homemade naan or eggs Blackstone with from scratch hollandaise and rustic cut panfries. The problem is they're both rich af and heavy to boot, so they don't lead well into any "doin it" after. Really though, if I'm cooking any of that that it's not someone's pants I'm trying to make my way into.
Now if I'm trying to impress with a pregame smash meal, I can do a fucking mean ass creamy pesto veggie panini with marinated roasted bell peppers, spinach, artichoke hearts, red onion and provolone.

Oh shit yeah!
Leaving someone all dick drunk in bed then coming back with a crazy delicious homemade benny is an unfair combo. Swear to God anything with hollandaise post good sex is like some Mortal Kombat finishing move where from out in the ether a disembodied voice says "Finish Her" as you hand over the plate.

Fresh salmon filet barbequed. Barbeque at 375- 400 degrees Fahrenheit skin side down. While cooking baste with sauce of 1Tbps. soya sauce, 1Tbps. brown sugar and 1Tbps of melted butter. Do NOT flip it. When the skin is burnt to a crisp on the underside it's done. Serve with Cesar salad and fresh roll. Guaranteed panty remover everytime. :)

I love food! When I go out, I love old school decadence. Foie gras? I'll take two. Caviar? Don't piss me off by putting a micro dollop on a scallop. I want an ounce, with toast points and accompaniments. Chateaubriand with a truffle infused Port Demi glace? Oh please. At home however, nothing beats a good burger and fries, or a simple, grilled cheese, with tomato soup. Now I'm hungry.

Charlee, is your recipe similiar to this?

I tried it recently and OMG, it's so good. And so easy to make once you have the right ingredients on hand. Before you make your next round, I HIGHLY recommend hunting down frozen lemongrass from Thailand. I found mine @ 88 Supermarket on Victoria. The difference between frozen Thai lemongrass and fresh local lemongrass is like comparing freshly roasted coffee to week old dregs. I'm going to have to remake every recipe with lemongrass in my recipe archive.
