It's tough to get truly passionate about things when you work a 9 to 5. I am a HUGE Montreal Canadiens fan and hockey fan in general. I love the world juniors and take time off during the holidays so I can watch every game.

I enjoy playing basketball and for a self taught white guy, I am pretty good. I also enjoy cooking and trying to experiment with new foods and flavours. It makes me feel like a mad scientist .

I am passionate about food, I am very passionate about food actually, but not in a sexy way. I am enthralled with graffiti, which got me into photography (a minor but excited interest). I still love climbing. I am very "passionate" (in the most reserved sense) about my family. I love great basslines (I am told I will grow out of this) but I think I will always be excited by a great audio system or setup. Writing is exceptionally important to me, I edit others, write creatively and do technical as well as business writing.. I read EVERYTHING that catches my eye.

i have had blogs on the net before they were called blogs, i like to think and explore thoughts and ideas in writing mostly fictional, there is alot of crap, out there on the net, alot,

but, my writings have always been popular, more though provoking that splash.

i have something out there now just started it its about this hobby actually,
it seems more popular with female readers and there kindof just going wow,

I play the drums avidly. 25 years now. Its a passion thats become my job, which sometimes erodes at the pleasure I get out of it; but for the most part, I'm a pig in shit.

I practice (not play, but practice... big difference) for an hour a day, and play in 3 bands so I'm rehearsing for at least 2 hours a day and gig at least twice a week. I've got 6 students, and a million teachers.

I will forever be a music student.

I try to take professional lessons at least twice a month or when the big guys roll through town. Every time I'm in another city I go to the music stores and take a half hour lesson... You'd be amazed at how often you'll end up in a little room with a legendary drummer, talking shop and picking up mind blowing insights and approaches.

I spend all my money on cymbals and traveling to see great teachers. Pooning has been getting in the way of a trip to the Drummers Collective in New York. Google it... What a cool place.

Its an obsession more than a passion... but damn do I love the drums.

Did anyone see Tony Royster on Drum Solo Week? The dude is heavy.
