What's your deal breaker or turnoff when looking at an SP ad?

Photos that are, or are almost duplicates of others in the same ad.

Photos that aren't right-side up - (if they can't take the time to get their pictures right-side-up, they're not making enough effort...) (surely they expect their clients to download their photos onto the company computer just to 'rotate' them... LOL)

(this next one isn't a deal-breaker, but it's a vastly popular sign of stupidity: when the posed selfies in a mirror have the provider staring into the back of her phone instead of looking into the mirror at the reflection of the lens. If we want to look at hot women staring into their phones, we can go and ride the SkyTrain. ) {hint: you can instantly re-take the photo if you didn't frame it well, so look into the mirror at the lens, NOT at the back of your phone}

Beyond that, Selfies are a GOOD thing... people just want an updated sense for whether you're legitimate. If you're using the same 3 pictures in your ads that you haven't changed in 5 years (the ad or the photo) then viewers just aren't going to get a positive sense of you. If you just randomly change it up, even IF you take a rushed, not-your-best photo every now and then... it will suggest that you are 'current' in your thinking and interest in booking appointments.

Copied-and-pasted ads are a strong negative... (meaning when you devise an ad on January 15... and then just keep repeating the same ad, word-for-word, through November (or even through February 7).

(you don't have to be a literary wonder... but just make it clear you're a woman who is offering companionship... and a vibe of somebody who is authentic and mostly sure of herself. I maintain full regard for those who do NOT want to be identifiable in their PERB photos... but I have special respect for those who present their entire selves as they are, while looking to draw from the crowd who may be interested in them , while not attempting to obscure enough of their individuality so that people seeking petite Asians and people seeking tall Caucasians and people seeking Jamaican Canadians might still be fooled into phoning the same provider.)

(for clarity on the above paragraph, consider a pregnant provider: there is a niche which very much adores pregnancy... so when you're pregnant and providing... you play to that niche... to not utilize the convenience of the internet while instead presenting yourself as no more than a black silhouette against the Yellow Pages, with a phone number, sets the industry back 25 years and more)

Or when you rent the penthouse suite at Motel Five... and there is an original Renoir painting over the bed... and when you're foolish enough to take your ad photos in front of the distinguishable Renoir (making your could-be locale instantly recognizable to everybody associated with that location). (The client doesn't know that you've now moved to the Ritz Carlton, or that your previous ad photo wasn't taken in today's same room at the Ritz' {cuz it's your favorite} )

Competition among providers is probably getting greater than ever during hard times... so if that isn't incentive enough to present yourself optimally, then I don't know what is.

(but don't worry, the 'handlers' surely know everything... {OR they rely on 'volume' wherever they go, and nobody else including you can tell the difference} )

horrible spelling, overly fat asses that seem to be the rage, long nails, drugs or party friendly, no or next to no information on their ads. I'm sure there are more, but it's early morning lol

For me it’s mostly about how complete the ad is. There are several things that I expect to find in an ad before reaching out

Name - I don’t want to call out my own name, though maybe I should try it
Rate - you can charge what you want but I have a budget range
Description - If your describing yourself as a blond don’t use redhead pictures,
Pics that give an accurate sense of your height and stature. Not asking for face pics, nor porno promo shots. Just
clear photos that provide me the opportunity to gauge who is going to open the door. If you have tattoos then blur them, but include them so that I can see where or how many tattoos you have. I like some body art but not everyone does.

I use the ad to gauge the professionalism of the provider. If the ad is below my expectations then the service will potentially be the same. If a provider takes the time to construct a good ad it shows commitment to their business model and I believe bodes well for the experience.

As an example of an outstanding ad, anyone remember Music, high rise just off Slocan and Kingsway from a few years ago? Talk about outstanding value. Her LL ads had 3 or 4 pictures of her and she was/is a knockout. Absolutely accurate if not understated.

Its so simple to create a great ad IF the SP is able to project what is being offered. For Music it was easy as her body was as perfect a 36-24-36 as god could create. But every SP (within reason) is offering something us pooners want so just present that, be accurate and don't fuck with us. I think it really is a build it and they will cum kind of thing.

For me the following can mean a no go:

1)Fugly feet.
2)Tattoos.
3) Granny's tits.
4)Pass the expiration date.
5)Party friendly(420).
6)Too many emojis on their ads.

  • Photos with timestamps 5+ years old
  • Little to no details in the ad in what services are offered or price.
  • Car Dates available
  • Obviously highly photo-shopped images
Unlike most people, something about a ghetto look / dirty apartment sort of gets me interested, must be the sleaziness of it.

The table in the background of the picture......with tin foil trays sitting on it ,and the used needles.
I can’t hit the delete button fast enough.

"Party friendly" is pretty much code for this, and I avoid it whenever possible. Sketchy = NOPE.

Statistically speaking, I have no doubt that I've probably seen a few SP's that did that stuff without me knowing about it, but if they are openly advertising it, that means they're deep into that shit. The odds of something bad happening to you go way up.

Also, I avoid anything that hints of some (probably sketchy) dude being the partner, middleman, or just lurking around nearby. That could mean pics of some guy's dick in an ad for her. Jizzed face, penetration. Whatever.
Not to be naive, but at least an agency has a rep to consider. Some random thuggo does not.

Ambiguity is a real turn-off, so the basics up front please: age, height, weight, ethnicity and price.
  1. "everything safe"... weird, either you accept that pooning is safe or not. I've never seen an ad that actually advertises BBFS, yet nearly every ad claims it as a restriction. Who would even consider that with an SP? I came of age in the early 80s - post HIV and herpes entering the collective consciousness - so I've never gotten lucky on a first date where a condom wasn't a requirement. Sure, after knowing someone for a while, that often falls by the wayside, but still... it seems like saying "gluten free water"... duh! If this is supposed to mean "no bbbj, no daty, no dfk" then I wouldn't be interested in the least...
  2. "safe GFE"... that one kills me. WFT does that mean? Again, perhaps it's not written in stone that GFE = bbbj, daty + kissing, but that is pretty common usage, so if you're not offering that magical trinity, you're not GFE!
  3. "available 24/7"
  4. "party friendly"
  5. badly lit photos of someone who looks barely conscious and on a bender in a really cheap motel or messy apartment
  6. it goes without saying: pics of minor celebrities, pornstars, MFC camgirls or famous Instagram "influencers"... like, we wouldn't notice?

I think there is an ad circulating right now under review over on the escort review board. Anna, a reference to Brazil and Quebec and another name, multiple ads. Full gamut of reviews from stay away to wanting to repeat plus an obviously fake one promoting the SP. Woman in the picture looks like she has been rebuilt with about 100 pounds of silicon. At any rate, if I see basically the same ad multiple times from different names it is not just a turn off but a really bright red flag.

it would seem to me that the more info provided in the ad, eg rates&specific services available would save a lot of time both for the provider and
possible clients?

Everywhere in BC
off the top of my head now.....?

- Providers who use social media to advertise themselves, but spend most of the time shilling for "way-out-there" politics (doesn't matter which side), and/or complains about the woes of their trade at the most basic premises. First off, if you hate your job quit. As for the politics, I've seen some very beautiful ladies on twitter, who seem to promote radicalized ideologies, which makes me wonder if they're into providing a service on me at all, or they're trying to trick me into going to the meeting "down by the docks" to discuss how to make Molotov cocktails, and blow up a museum because of "something something CIS white colonizer bad man"...... I mean, sure it's their choice to service a limiting demographic of like minded people, ...so I'll just move on then.

- Ads for "online services only". Yes, I know COVID and all; This could be a topic unto itself. So I'll just say as deal-breaker for myself coming across these ads, if there is a provider who does these 'only-fans' or 'chaturbate' stuff, if they're legit, then they should be offering physical meets at some point. Otherwise, "online only" to me means they're just advertising their personalize porn in an already flooded market of free obtainable porn elsewhere, and no guarantee of actual real meet transactions. For me, it should be the other way around; if we meet and the session went well, I'll invest in your OF to support your endeavors until we meet again. but to blindly pay upfront first, sounds scammy; so i'll move on....

- Weird menus, has been brought up. What I've seen are pricing schemes where a provider would offer their hh/hr/2hr rates (lower than the standard), but explain that you're only paying for the time and the most 'basic service' while every common 'act' is a sold separately. IIRC, kissing was $60, BBBJ was $60, and CBJ $40, CIM was $40, Greek $80, Russian $40, COF/T/B $40, cowgirl was $60, doggie was $40,...... so when budgeting out the session with her, you're either getting a half-hour of 'everything' or 1-2 hours of boring starfish.

- Asian ads. On leolist, I just filter them out of my search function automatically, I don't even bother anymore. I trust Asian Fever and PERB enough to know which Asian providers are truly legit, but overall I can't stand the horrible make-up apps and shitty photoshop to gauge whether they are real or not.

I provide rates in my ad, but leolist only allows a limited amount of total words in the ad when you are verified, including spaces, so not enough room for specific services to be included
I didn't know about the limited # of words, I see some ads will use acronyms,eg. BBBJ,DFK,DATY,which, along with price,eg 180/30,220/45 etc.
would not use too many words?
Personally, I don't care about flowery descriptions of "my wonderful curves" or "luscious lips" etc. I just want to know what is available and the price.
