im just getting back into "The Boys", on prime, this is season 4 of what has been an entertaining, action-packed, vigilantes vs super-antiheros series, with lots of social commentary and satire along the way- 8\10

also watching "Extraordinary" on hulu, this is a british sci-fi comedy that is really cracking me up; Jen is an irish girl living in a world where everyone has "powers" except her, the boyfriend is a shape-shifter that used to be a cat, her flat-mate talks to the dead, and she's surrounded by misfits and goofs; if u like brit-comedies you'll find its funny- 8\10

Well, it's an old one but if you haven't watched Wayward Pines it's a can't miss. It's on Hulu. Season 1 was incredible.

If you like "The Boys" check out the spin-off "Gen V". I don't tend to like spin-off shows, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was.
Sticking to prime there's the "Fallout" tv show. If you are a fan on games like me you'll love it. But I think its a show that has a broad appeal beyond the gaming community. "Oppenheimer" is also on Prime. Fav movie in the last 5 years.

On Netflix my top show this year has been "Three Body Problem". It's not a for everyone, but I enjoyed a lot more than initially intended. Coming from a book reader I have love-hate relationship with D&D for what they did to ASOIAF books. Speaking on D&D, if you like GOT, watch "House of the Dragon" season 2 just started like last week. S1 has a very early-GOT feel to it. Not dumb nonsensical shit of later seasons.

Haven't watch "Shogun", but a lot of my friends highly recommend it. But haven't had the time to watch it.

Do any of you streamers have problems losing the internet connection? I got a new LG OLED and it of ten loses signals. My previous tv was also LG and never had this problem.
I’m looking for a booster antenna or something similar.

Yes. I have had both Shaw and Telus. Shaw went from excellent to shitty, then OK then Rogers came in and I dumped them as the service was down a third the time and no will at their side to fix their cabling issues. Got Telus, half the Shaw speed but its up 99% of the time and really whats the difference between 330 and 128 MBs.
But the Telus signal from its internal router is a lot weaker than the Shaw signal was (when Shaw actually was up and running). I bridge it all to hardware firewall then to a Nighthawk router that can broadcast out to Mars it seems and its ethernet signal is excellent. But. Still there are dropouts.

So a few months back speaking with a friend who lives this stuff, he said you need to shut the hardware off on a regular basis. Routers in particular. After all, these gizmos are all computers at heart. Explanation was the internal cache etc needs to be cleared. And if you are just wifi not ethernet, add an extender somewhere near your streamer devices.

I am now trying to be diligent on this, shutting off the modem, the firewall, the router for a couple minutes every 10 days or so. Seems to fix the dropouts certainly on my IPTV and Roku boxes. Telus TV though? If the originating signal is shitty as in the Sportsnet 4K that has stuttering issues, not much you can do.

Been watching House Of The Dragon, season two has started.
Watched Fallout (it was good).

Here's a weird one: the reality show about North Shore Rescue, on the Knowledge Network. It's not high drama or anything, but interesting.

I'm also rewatching Bosch, and Bosch: Legacy.

I am grateful to Bosch for turning me on to Grace Kelly (as I recall, she was in season 2 episode 2).

Ferrari with Adam Driver was a good surprise as sort of a prequel to Ford v Ferrari. Both great race themed films with this one highlighting the poor sales that almost ended the company in 1957. Enzo was all about the racing and not making non racing cars.

I also picked up the Oliver Stone JFK Revisited with both BluRay and DVD. LOTS of new info (to me) in the second disk. There’s a few holy shit moments.

I didn't know there was a JFK revisited edition - need to find that as the original was pretty epic. Well researched and thought provoking.

Life is pretty busy at the moment but I have been watching The Outlaws on Prime. Stephen Merchant produced. If you have not followed any of his stuff, he and Ricky Gervais started off together and IMO this guy is friggin hilarious and comedic genius. He got Christopher Walken into S1 and S2 and the fat fat girl in Baby Reindeer who is another comedic star. S3 is not as good as S1/2, so far but I'll carry on with it.
S2 of House of Dragon, E1, had some trouble following just what the fuck the two assassins were actually doing as I figured they were after the one eyed dude but what the hell, its got dragons.

I wasn't impressed. The crash scenes were cheesy and the movie overall rather boring.

I've watched the first two episodes of The Day of The Jackal, and I quite like the show. It's very well produced throughout.
