If I had to pick one thing the quality that *attracts* me to a man is .... is .... dangerousness.... a sexy darkness... never works out mind you.... lol
Based on my own experiences, I'd say confidence. When I was in highschool I had practically no confidence, and I practically never got the time of day from girls. In university I had somewhat more confidence, and I started to do better. When I graduated from university and ended up in the working world, I had more confidence, and now I have no trouble attracting women, sometimes even ones who should be way out of my league. Other than confidence, I really haven't changed all that much.
Makes sense...that explains why Tony Soprano was always attracting the hotties... pretty sure it wasn't his washboard abs.

I used to be pretty much a waste case, jobless, alcoholic, small time criminal, soft drug fiend with no interests or aspirations other than partying, getting loaded, getting laid and sleeping.... And I was never single, often juggling 2 or 3 non-commited relationships at a time.
Then I got clean and sober, got educated, got a job, a car, a decent place, treat people well and respectfully... And damned if I can't even find a date for my birthday or staff Xmas party...

I believe it. Have a cousin just like that. Chicks are always chasing him. To boot, he's short and fat, and drives an old rustbucket. Could it just be a case of 'birds of a feather flock together'? Can't imagine many classy refined women would be attracted to that lifestyle.
I have the new 35G car, stable job, posterboy for clean-cut image and clean living. I'm respectful to a fault. Guess who DOESN'T get the girls? lol! At least I can laugh at it now...

Joking aside, take the post with a grain of salt... I'm sure much of my lack of success with women in recent years is that my own standards have risen while my stock has fallen some with age. Fact is, that old lifestyle is right there waiting for me if I want it but the choice is pretty simple. The new life kicks ass over the old.
I probably just need to take more risks and unearth some of that confidence that ThatOtherGuy was talking about. I got that gentle spirit thing down pat but that only wins em over after ya give em a reason to discover it. I need some good openers = )

I would have to say a sense of humour, it's the only thing I got going for me. Not that I'm funny, but I can laugh at anything.

i think the most important quality (and i can't put it in one word) is DON'T BORE THE FUCK OUT OF HER. be interesting with confidence and a sense of humor. challenge her, never become predictable, and always let her know that you're the man that most guys aren't - thru your actions not just words.
Good for you LB, that you turned your life around before it was too late. If I lived nearby, I'd take you up on the wingman offer. I highly doubt you live in Saskatchewan though!
I don't know man... must have a lot more than that going for you, if you can sustain a long-term relationship like that, you're doing damn good! Sounds like the two of you mesh very well together. Hope I'm lucky enough to find that kind of soulmate someday.
