What's the consensus here on Tom Leykis?

Thoughts? Anyone go around dating following this stuff religiously? The rules make sense if all you want is to get a quick bang, but if you want to actually 'date' and learn something wouldn't a lot of this be excessive?
http://www.tenetsofleykis.com/

Tenets of Leykis 101:

#1. Never Spend More Than $40 on a Date-Leykis 101 students are cautioned against spending more than $40 on a date. Leykis believes that expensive dinners, pricey gifts, elaborate flowers and the like do not increase the chances of sex. Why $40? Because when you go to the ATM, it is the most common fast cash option.

#2.Three Strikes Rule-If a woman does not "put out" (i.e., consent to sex) by the third date, a Leykis 101 student should "dump that bitch" ("DTB" for short) because she has no intention of ever doing so.

#3. Always Use a Condom- Self explainitory, even if she's on the pill. Never rely on the woman's declaration that she's using a contraceptive.

#4. No Single Mothers- Leykis insists that some men have been ordered by the courts to pay child support to their former wives, even though they were not the biological father of her children. This, he asserts, financially ruins the men for many years making them unable to start a new life with another woman or enjoy the money they earn.

#5. Avoid Groups-Leykis claims that they make sure no sex happens. This is especially true if a date unexpectedly shows up with an uninvited girlfriend, as they’re scamming for free food or need an excuse to leave, without you.

#6. No Coworkers- Leykis claims dating coworkers risks being sued for sexual harassment and leads to awkward working relationships. Tom does make exception if you don't care about your job or wouldn't mind quitting or getting fired as a result of dating a coworker.

#7. Cell phones- If a female answers a cell-phone call, or responds to text messages, in the middle of dinner, Leykis advises that the male should immediately get up and leave. He justifies this as follows:
*It is possible that the caller is another man who she is going to have sex with when she finishes her date.
* If the caller is one of her children, the man is already violating Leykis' 'no-single-mothers' rule.
* If the call is work related, and is deemed more important than the man now, it will always be more important.
Leykis believes if a woman deems a 101 student unimportant enough that she feels comfortable answering her cell phone during the date, she is not sufficiently interested in having sex with the man.

#8. Answering the Phone- Leykis admonishes his students against answering their telephones on weekends, giving the impression that they are busy and important people. Answering a woman's calls (and generally being accessible to her) is not the way to do this, he advises. As justification, Leykis usually quotes what he believes is a basic rule of humanity; "we want what we can't have."

#9. Don't Become Poindexter- According to Leykis, a woman begins Looking for Poindexter, at the point in her life when she makes the decision to buy a house and find a man to create children with. With more than 100,000 miles on her odometer, she runs ads on Craigslist with the one liner, I've had my fun. She's done all the hot guys, like the highschool quarterback, but now she's interested in someone more stable. One thing's for sure, for the next guy it won't be fun, because from here on out it's all business, love is secondary at this point. Now she wants a rent payer, sperm donor, a human wallet. She's going to treat this relationship like a business decision.

#10. No Crazies- Tom has zero tolerance about anything crazy. For example if a woman hits him, or if she threatens to jump out of an open car door while the car is moving, he gives one warning. After that it's all over with. When you hang around with somebody like that, pretty soon you'll go over the edge. On a first date spend the date at her place not yours. This way she does not know where you live and cannot harrass you. Avoid giving her your primary telephone number, give that to your friends only. Give her the "women only" telephone number and screen those calls.

#11. No Virgins- Tom believes that virgins are über clingy, and something no man can get rid of. Being with a virgin in his mind gives you a permanent spot in her mind, and will follow you wherever you go.

#12. Relationships- Avoid relationships, especially up to age 25. Tom says a person should experience as many other people as possible up to the age of 25. Do different things, travel the world, establish your career. For people over age 25, avoid seriously dating anyone under age 25. People are still forming their personality to age 25.

Women are dreamkillers. Women stifle a man's career potential. Leykis explains he had to divorce and end relationships because women wanted to "settle down" to build a nest to raise kids, to place family above career. Their desire to "settle down" stifles Tom's own career as a radio personality. In radio each career move means moving to a new city to a new market. Leykis 101 suggests a man who wants to realize his Dream must therefore avoid being tied down to anyone. Unestablished young men especially must be wary of "dreamkillers."

Women are golddiggers. Women see men as a source of wealth. Whether spending one night with a pro athlete, or one year married to a millionaire, a woman's goal is to get a maximum amount of money out of the man. Tom focuses on pro athlete "rape" cases such as Kobe Bryant because he feels many of these cases are not rape, but consentual traps set up by golddiggers.

#13. Black Book- Tom kept the names of who he was dating in a book. He had an A list, B list, and C list. He would date the C list on Sundays and Mondays. The B list on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and the A list on Thursdays. He would keep Friday and Saturday nights open to meet new women.

#14. Stink of Death- Leykis refers to a man who's not getting any, as having the stink of death. You can tell by the way he dresses and how he acts.

#15. Violence- Leykis claims he does not like the phrase "violence against women", because "it leads people to ignore violence against men." Leykis reminds students that "nothing turns off women faster than violence against them without their consent." He also tells his audience to get out of any abusive relationships, and insists "it is wrong" to hit anyone.

I agree with 95% of what he says, but his show's really repetitive. If you've listened to enough of them, you feel like you've listened to them all. Occasionally, there are some I find worth listening to though.

Leykis sounds like a bitter asshole but he's got some good points. For example, a girl answering her cell phone on a date is just plain rude. same goes for if a guy does as well.

and I somewhat agree on the three strikes rule except that my version is if the girl and I don't get physically closer for 3 straight dates.

He is 100% Correct!

I agree with everything he has to say...

I don't listen to him, because I already think the way he does, thus, I get nothing from the show.

Leykis became hugely popular once he switched from his political format show to the shock jock stuff. His show is good, but it's a complete act. He appeals to the Gerry Springer type of fans. Howard Stern is the King of all Media
