We create these narratives that one person really is so much "better" than someone else... but are they, really? Couldn't many different people be your best friend, your best lover, cook your best meal, have your best adventure with, etc... depending on when, where, how, why your paths crossed?
This is just an observation, I don't mean to diminish or sidetrack this thread. I think it would be healthier for our collective mental health if we got away from the whole concept of "the best ever", "the all time favourite" and the inevitable comparisons or desperate need to match & out do it each time... or suffer the let-down that it didn't seem as good as that other time with that other person.
Not to deny that sometimes it isn't good or really was just mundane and ordinary. That's life too.
IMHO, you will be a happier person if you experience your "best ever" sex right now, with the person you are with today.
