Neither, from what I can gather. Exchange of bodily fluids is all that is stipulated as being required for contracting an STD. I'm not saying I'm pro or con either of those... just answering your question.
I recall a high track SW saying to me "Are you crazy?" when i asked
her if she did BBBJ. But she had no problem sticking her tongue in
my mouth, which could have been full of cuts from flossing, biting
myself, or dental work. This was a couple years ago, BTW.
I tend to swallow a lot of saliva when i am enjoying non stop mouth
to mouth kissing for an extended period, say 5 minutes & up.
