I'm having it in 2 weeks. Been doing the practice ICBC one. On the actual test, is it similar to the car test where it's just road rules and situations?
yes, a few years ago, on a whim, while I was in renewing my license, I took it after reading the book for maybe 10 mins, I passed...don't worry about it as it's pretty easy. Never did end up getting my class 6 tho.I'm having it in 2 weeks. Been doing the practice ICBC one. On the actual test, is it similar to the car test where it's just road rules and situations?
I took the test a few months ago. Did the same as you and completed the online test several times. However the actual test had about 25% of the online questions.I'm having it in 2 weeks. How did they do that during the test? It was 20+ years ago I took my skills test, so it could have changed…but at that time they just followed you on a predetermined route. No opportunity to ask you questions (it’s not like a car when they sit with you). Do they give you a comm unit while you’re getting your test or something? They used to give you some verbal questions on the skills test, like 70-80% front brake for a hard stop, stopping distance to leave behind other vehicles, using side mirrors, etc.
They had a series of skill test for you to do. The examiner was standing and telling you to do a low speed pylon weave, an emergency brake stop at that white line, etc. Then before or after or both they would ask you knowledge questions. I thought it was pretty good actually. .How did they do that during the test?
