Just read in the paper that residents in a Houston neighbourhood were wondering where a particular pungent odor was coming from.

It seemed to be coming from 27 yr old Timothy Wayne Sheppards backyard when he was barbecuing...

He was barbecuing his 19 yr old ex-girlfriend.....He became upset when she broke off with him and started another relationship.

I think we need to start looking at checking out the brains of young kids who habitually torture animals and have other sociopathic/psychopahtic behaviour...not to punish but to see if they can be helped.

I'm pretty sure some red flags went unnoticed in Sheppard's childhood....but surely now there is better screening....

Yeah, but they sure want to fix a kid in a hurry if he/she has some problems with their attention span....or eyes.....or ears......

If a kid shows a propensity to light fires, torture animals, lie manipulatively and has a low startle reflex.....than these are just some of the signs that their brain might be a bit different....a scan would just be part of a psychological work-up...it would probably be negligent not to investigate as much as possible.
