Why anyone would to do a no show with someone like Charlotte Edwards is beyond me, besides being Gorgeous she’s a very sweet person who is also very professional in how she conducts her business,I’d have no issues with making a small deposit for a booking, why Vancouver has lots of flake pooners is a mystery to me other than the fact that Toronto seems to have a much higher percentage of professional SPs than Vancouver
What's keeping some of the reputable touring SP's from coming to Vancouver?

Bingo ! Way too much work when there’s great clients on the island . Vancouver can be scary for some of us island girls . 
There are a bunch of gals that get no showed on visiting or not. And it sucks. I can understand why so many require some kind of reference or deposit. I can understand a newbie getting cold feet here and there but some comments on here and stuff Ive heard from ladies on the amount of cancellations is ridiculous. In any business/industry if your losing money in a venture you most likely/generally will stop doing business (there are some exceptions).
Lets say (these numbers are just a rough estimate and "can vary") flight round trip is $800, hotel $600 (3 nights), other basic costs (food, taxi, supplies, make up depreciation/usage etc) $200 and her rate is $300/hr. She needs to see 6 clients 2 per day to make $1800. So making $200 not even counting in costs of getting waxed, maybe hair done and other stuff. Doesn't seem worth it or worse if its a loss. Not even counting the opportunity cost of what they could have made staying in their main area. Its always good on the consumer side to have lots of options and hot visiting SP's. But damn with some of the bs they go through I can understand why they dont visit or stop visiting.
Another issue is about lack of info. Not everyone searches reviews boards, Perb, Terb, Merb, CAF, etc. So many a reluctant (understandingly of course with the crazy amount fakes, WOT and ROBs out there) to TOFTT. And not enough people add info. When I see a SP, I like to leave them a review as a way another way to thank them and give possible hobbyists who are interest in seeing them some info to help them make a decision. There was an SP that was around for weeks and booked up daily yet almost no info was ever shared. Im sure the amount of hobbyists that see an SP vs the ones that actually relay info is very imbalanced. Yes you can argue they dont want to, they dont want their girl being to busy for them and other reasons.
I hate to say it like this but there is a saying "nature of the beast". Good and bad. All businesses/industries have issues that suck to navigate through. In this industry it would be nice if its as simple as find ad/reviews, book lady, show up, have fun, share info and Bada Bing Bada Boom done.

The benefit of touring, if you want to know the market strategy (or talk more about it), is repeatedly visiting the same places and building up a secondary (or tertiary) client base. Being able to skip town when things get lean in your home city is helpful if you've already run through all the regulars in your home market. Going to somewhere you've been before and have another group of clients who don't get to see you as often and can supplement your income in months (see January/February) that are otherwise sparse.
Touring is tough, and you start from the bottom again in every new city, but if you go places you have other interests in seeing, it can be worth the expenses. Maybe.
I have this problem also.
My life is pretty hard to schedule with any certainty. Well, there are degrees of certainty, no absolutes, right? I'm no flake and no liar, and I've never intentionally no-showed anyone. Trouble is, I'm up against all the actual liars and flakes out there, who burn SP's without giving it a moment's thought.
Still, I need to stop being self-sabotaging by being over-honest (or just over-pessimistic, really) and saying things that sound flakey.

Little known fact...9 out of 10 men going to see a SP will have a traffic accident on their way.
If you are that reliable, you can afford to deal with the remaining risk yourself.
Either avoid risky situations (impractical), or buy insurance of sorts. Purely hypothetical (I never cancelled), I'd insist on a cancellation fee after the fact. Anything that she'd consider reasonable up to 100% of the rate. Though if it looks to be on the greedy side like 100% cancellation fee, I'd probably pay and not rebook in that case. Anyway, you don't need to worry if you are willing to compensate.
How can you say your life too unpredictable, you plan and go to your business meetings, your don't miss children school meeting, you get to doctor on time, but you can't book and get to a SP like you promise? It only means you care less about SP than other things I think. If you can't make anything then maybe you suck at planning things haha
No, perhaps my wording was misleading. I meant a mental exercise you can do to calm your conscience if you don't have a 100% certainty you'll make the appointment. Instead of explaining the SP there is a small risk of cancellation, it can be simpler to promise to yourself you are going to compensate her in that case. Then you are not a time waster and no need to make her worry about the unlikely scenarios. It's more like providing her the insurance (even if she does not know about it).

Make sure you file in the correct jurisdiction. The domain .cc (as in perb.cc) belongs to Cocos Islands, population of 600. They don't have their own court, but you could get Elsi there and wait for judges to come from Western Australia.
Also, sybian, I have a vagina and boobies. If I were to be strung up on sexual harassment charges, it likely would have happened by now.
