What would it take for the canucks to win the cup?
Look at Calgary ... one star player and a come out of nowhere goalie and no go ...
look at the Avalanche powerhouse team ... or Detroit or even Philli ... pfft.
other than a style of play that makes the nucks exciting to watch, what do they have and what do they lack that would make the difference?
and while we think the nucks are a joke, has anyone looked at the team that beat them in '94? What have they done since?
Is it goal tending? Clouts get 3 30-win seasons in a row ... out of 82 games and this is good???
Is it coaching? is Crow still dreaming of that other team he coached? and does he think he had anything to do with the wins?
Is it ownership/management? write the wrong cheques to the wrong guys at the wrong times?
Is it the forwards? the Sedins haven't done much ... who else has?
Defense? Jovo is good when he is good ... not so good the rest of the time ...
Fans? expect too much, pay too little?
Location? too nice to play cold hockey when hot Kits beckons?
