I have had a couple of posts on here about various things but after reading for a while I have come to the decision that calling myself (or any fellow gentlemen) a "Pooner" or "Hobbyist" makes me feel goofy.

I understand Pooner...poontang, poonani etc.....still goofy.

Hobbyist I get also...some people collect stamps....some build models....we stamp a collection of well built models..lol.

I pose the question... and emplore the SP's to help...

"What are some better and or more interesting names we could call ourselves?"

I ask the SP's because I am sure that they have at times called us many different things. :D LOL

To start:
-Vaginal Engineers
-Hottie Humpers
-(for those with So's) Extracuricular Activities Director
-Fun Seeker
-for the the SP's in University...we may be referred to as "Tuition":)

If you Guys and Ladies have any other ideas I would love to hear them...

Maybe we could get name tags.

Don't sweat the petty things...Don't pet the sweaty things.

Hobbyist, pooner, and john really define it the best without being to obvious. The only other one I can think of is maybe "Lurker" ?

In the UK, we're called "punters". On the international boards, we're called "mongers" (short for the Biblical term "whoremongers").

The term "pooner" seems to exclusive to PERB. I've never seen it on any other board, nor have I ever heard it spoken anywhere.

The most direct answer: I see SPs because I like to fuck them. Therefore; I am a Fucker.

A less direct answer: I see SPs because I seek an entertaining experience which includes sex. Therefore, I am an ES (Entertainment Seeker). In this case, my status as an ES matches up with their status as a SP. We can all be acronyms! Yeah!!!

The Old School (and politically incorrect) answer: I am a John, they are Hookers, Whores or Prostitutes. Definately not the PC answer, to be sure.

In some ways, its lack of PC is appealling. I think (and I'm sure others agree) that the Service Provider title and acronym does nothing but attempt to sanitize the business. We are paying women to have sex with us and they are getting moeny to have sex with us. Part of that appeal is that it IS outside of the norms of society. While its legal to be a prostitute in BC, its still not thought of as a desireable job or career choice. That adds a certain appeal. Going to see a SP sounds almost like going to a dentist or a doctor. Going to see a Hooker or a Whore, well, that's different.

I like the idea of fucking a hooker, not sure I get such a charge out of fucking a service provider.

I don't know when the SP acronym was first employed. Long before I got into the hobby as a Fucker :)D ) Maybe we should consider a little bit of a discussion on this issue? Just an idea.
