I'm with Vanessa on this one. I killed my TV 2 years ago. I used to be a CNN junkie... I am so much more optimistic now. :thumb:this is why i gave up tv. i do not need to know what a sad world we live in. i am happy in my bubble.

I used to be a news junkie but found I didn't really like the content thrown in front of me. I will tune into BBC World and the local Global news now and then. Really the HD shows I enjoy now are anything with Anthony Bourdain. I would love his job. Travel, eat, drink and see areas that many tourist would never see. I have it on now and he is in Rio de Janeiro. It is now on my bucket list :nod:I'm with Vanessa on this one. I killed my TV 2 years ago. I used to be a CNN junkie... Ditto for me. I own an HD and all I use it for is playing Super Nintendo. And sometimes drying clothes. The internet guy thought I was insane when I declined the cable deal. Couldn't wrap his head around someone not watching TV.
Agreed. I like to watch what I want, when I want, rather than have some box talking to me.]I used to be a news junkie but found I didn't really like the content thrown in front of me. I also like to have music documentaries or concerts on the tube and have tuned into the new HIFI channel frequently.
