A 6th foot has washed up over the past year in local waters. The story is now getting international coverage including the Letterman Show. What is going on? Decomposing bodies from a plane crash..gangland justice..serial killer? And how many feet have washed up that no one's found? What's everyone's take on this bizarre story?

While the bouyancy idea makes good sense, we also have to remember how unusual it actually is. According to yesterdays Vancouver Province, ignoring what's happening in BC, they've only ever found a total of 8 occurances of this ever being reported world wide. And it's now happened 6 times just in BC in the last year.

I hope that it isn't human smugglers but unfortunately it's quite possible. And the previous comment wondering how many haven't been found yet is also troubling...

this foot issue is off-kilter as of the five human feet found to date, FOUR are right feet. Lots of head scratching in process. This prankster if found should be cat o' nine-tailed.

I was thinking the same thing, although one of the feet may belong to a female. I also presume that because they all seem to have been in runners that runners tend to float better that dress shoes.
