What Would You Do?

Several years ago we went costco and while my wife was at the check out I bought a pizza in the food court and noticed about a 8 to 10 year old boy sitting alone at a table with 6 chairs. I asked him if I could set my pizza box down for 2 minutes that when my wife came we would be eating on the road. He answered "yes that would be OK till my family gets here" As soon as I set the box down a woman about 35 to 40 clapped her hands very loudly and yelled " get away from that facing table it is mine" I picked up my pizza put on my very best poker face and said " I am very sorry mam I asked the very polite boy I suppose he is your grandson, if I could be there till his family came. Very sorry to have e inconvenienced you." after her outburst you could have heard a pin drop and let's say she was not happy to be called grandma, but said nothing.

This has the makings of a good thread. lol.
Lots of Karen stories. I will share two more quickies. Held the door open for a "lady" when we were going into a bank. Turned out she was the manager. Anyway I was in front of her and I held the door open behind me for her. She walked around me looking at me like I was something she had just stepped in and brushed passed me. I said " You don't say thank you?" She said " for blocking the door?" I said "I was holding it open for you". She just glared at me and turned and walked away. I did yell the F word at her.
Second door holding story. Held the door open at Brentwood mall for a mother and daughter who brushed past me and carried on yammering without acknowledging me. I said "pardon me?" The mother said "I didn't say anything". I said. "Oh, I thought you said thank you" .She screamed at me "I am talking to my daughter".
End of story.
