Beverly Hills. In the Kitchen eatin' vittles.
I'd appreciate some advice on how some of you might proceed in such a situation.

A couple of days ago I was visited by a client of mine. Let's call her Ms. X. She's someone I don't see regularly or do a lot of work for but she uses me a couple of times a year.
She is always very pleasant and friendly but professional.
I would say she is in her mid 40's (I'm early 50's) and quite attractive. She's also married.

During our meeting she was initially sitting across from me but as soon as the situation required moved to sit right beside me. At times leaning in to see what I was showing her but making contact with me. When I would speak to her she was very attentive making lots of eye contact. Also and I'm not imagining this, when I left the room to get another file and returned I could swear her blouse was open a second button exposing more of her cleavage.

At the time I never really put much stock in any of this as I do have a very personal approach with many of my clients and they feel comfortable around me. Then today my assistant was teasing me telling me that the other day while she was waiting for me, Ms. X out of the blue tells my assistant that she thinks I'm "a cutie" and then asks her how old I am. My assistant then tells me, Ms. X asks what my wife does for a living and when she tells her I'm divorced, Ms. X says "really." Then Ms. X goes on to tell my assistant all kinds of personal stuff about how her life is so boring and she's just married to a "dumb farmer".

Anyway I get an email from Ms. X today thanking me for my help and inviting me out to lunch.

On one hand I'm experienced enough and old enough to know not to mix business with pleasure but on the other hand if she is looking for a possible fling who am I to say no. It's not like she's a big client and I'm not bound by any ethical dilemma like a doctor or lawyer, from banging a client.

Cheers

Just remember that "dumb farmer" has been shooting varmints (coyotes - Rats) that got too close to his chicken coop/ sheep pen for years.
Maybe he only cultivates shiitake mushrooms.

DO IT! Otherwise you will always wonder "what if"?

If she'll cheat with you, she'll cheat on you.

You can't be sure she's just looking for a "fling", and you can't be sure that she won't make it messy if you partake in a "fling" and then wish to end it.

I have to agree with sdw, its the aftermath you need to think about or worry about.
Good Luck
Your right. Although I'm single I would still have some concerns regarding my daughter and my career.
The last thing I need is to come home one day to a boiled bunny. ;)

I guess I just got caught up in the excitement of an attractive younger woman finding me "cute" and was flirting with me.
That hasn't happened for a very long time.

Cheers

if she's invited you out for lunch, i think you owe it to you both to at least take her up on lunch. then depending how the conversation goes you might be able to clear up any questions you have as to her motives and expectations - as well as a chance to express yours

you're both over 21, and who knows - she might be an old hand at the cheating game, and could provide you with some VERY pleasurable diversions!

as they say in that goofy ad... it's only lunch! :)

The number one animal that our varmint hunts target is the coyote. Coyotes are not only numerous but, in some areas, overpopulated to the point of being a nuisance to both ranchers and wildlife populations. Prairie dogs and gophers run a close second to coyotes in popularity and are generally hunted in early spring.

Additional varmints are any animal not classified as fur-bearing such as: Bobcats, badgers, porcupine, raccoon, and fox.
foxes aren't varmints, badge... well, i guess that depends what yer shootin' at 'em... :D

I have known guys to go around town with a loaded gun looking for guys that have messed with their wife.

A lawyer told one guy I know that he would get him off if he shot the guy,
some temperary mental state.

A guy at work a long time ago, shot himself his wife and her boyfriend, all dead,
we used to car pool.

At least check the hubby out does he own guns, is he a hunter, a gun collecter.
If he does it is your fucking suicide.

While it may seem like a good idea, the down side is that this is WPG. While her account may be a small it is amazing who is a friend, neighbor or cousin of perhaps one of your big customers. One of the ones it would hurt alot to lose. That and the fact the husband may cut your dick off and bury you (lots of places to hide a body when the closest neighbor is miles away, or he may be helping to dig the hole!)

Risk/benefit ratio. How attractive is she? How boring is your life? Is there much cheaper/better alternative? You know the answer!
