This is my latest pooning experience. Having arrived to the building that I was told to be at to see the SP, I get a text from the handler saying that he/she gave me the old address and says for me to go to another address. Arriving to that address, I recognize the building and know which SP it is that the he/she is setting me up with. Knowing that I didn't want to be seeing that SP because of her sub-mediocre or worse service, I turn my car around and head for home. Later on I get a text from the handler, asking what had happened? I tell him/her a lie, saying that I was there, completed the session and am grateful to him/her for having sent the SP out to greet me at the door. I think I left him/her confused. Anyways, what would you do if this happened to you?

why didn’t you just tell them no to the bait and switch?

Lying makes it worse for the SP and you cannot use the agency again.

I presume they will take a financial cut from her for your imaginary encounter.

Not really sure the lying was necessary. If he's setting you up with a different SP than what is originally agreed upon, you can just walk at that point. But I think its better to see first.

You may have put the sp in a difficult spot, as well as making yourself look sketchy.

If I were you I would be honest and tell the handler the truth. You burned a bridge so admitting what you did cannot make you look any worse.

Message him/her back with a mea culpa 😇

Confused. Are you asking for sympathy because you lied and potentially put an SP in an awkward if not dangerous situation? A lie is a lie, sorry. Maybe there's more to this history (ex. how do you not know which SP you've booked to see???) but there's always a high road and a low road to take and you chose the low one. Rationalizing your behaviour in any positive light is quintessential entitlement.

You're all probably right that lying was not necessary. 99 percent of times, I'd take one on the chin and accept the B&S. Just not yesterday, this chump had had enough. Anyways, I'm certain that the SP didn't get penalized for the "no show". They don't get blamed for this sort of thing, especially in the cases where a client has been re-routed to them for whatever the reason is.

Naw, not looking for sympathy. My conscience was bugging me ever so slightly. So, just truly wondering what would have been a better solution and maybe handle it differently next time.

Lying isn't the way to do it. Trying to be smarter is. You should have been straight up and cancelled the appointment the moment you found out it was a person that you didn't want to see. It's a much better option than walking away and etc. Maybe by taking this high road, it would push responsibility back to the handler's court.

Dude, it’s possible that the agency has moved the SP to another incall. Assuming a B&S without seeing the SP is simply wrong. If I were you, I would have gone up to see first. If it’s indeed B&S, then walk and tell the handler the truth.
She's been there for a decade, so I doubt it and won't chance it. I used to be a regular of hers at that in call when her service was slightly better. Now, she even has a secondary in call, so she is tricky to avoid. It makes me wonder how many different Asian Agencies she's listed under.

Yes, and the possibility that the agency handler may be reading this. I'm pretty sure many of these agencies read Perb.

And we wonder why screening is becoming harder and deposits are required more often

I can't believe this thread. I mean for FUCK's SAKE.
The situation was civil, with the handler asking what happened and the OP lies for no apparent reason!
Pretty fucked up is all I can say.
Brother give your head a shake and maybe think about what else you have been lying about.

Not sure if you have an issue as a compulsive liar, because it does seem strange that you would uncessarily lie based on an assumption that you have, knowing that the person you lied to will eventually figure out that you lied to them. They probably wouldn't want to deal with you in the future, unless retaining you as a customer is a priority for them.
