What would her purpose be?

Take a peek at this. I know it's not an isolated case, I've seen it before but I'm just trying to understand why would this young woman do this. Not knowing the whole story doesn't help but I'm trying to figure out if it's a call for attention, revenge on a boyfriend or what.

Its the most despicable form of attention whoring that should be punished with gang rape upon conviction.

I've had a buddy from college have his life absolutely ruined by a similar whore who tried to get back at him for one thing or another. She finally broke down during cross examination and admitted that the whole thing was a fabrication. Of course because she was a woman she was never charged with anything.

I'm not saying that what this woman did was acceptable with any room for excuse, but I think some of the posts above mine are a bit much without knowing the story.

I took Psychology in University, yeah I know... Psych 101 doesn't make you an expert by any means, but have you considered that maybe in one point in her life she WAS sexually assaulted, and after a few years of bottling it up she may have finally just wanted to cry out for some attention, rather than seek necessary therapy? Lots of people bottle, move on, then do something stupid and regrettable even years down the road, when you would think the mind would have gotten past that point....

Jenna Jameson was most likely abused by her father, (so has been implied even in her own book), and lots of guys easily hop on that train and will get off knowing that girls horrible life circumstances and downfalls...

Guys also get away with rape at alarming rates. Lots of rapes are not reported. So... this is always a sticky subject... I think it should be treated with respect, personally. Especially on an SP board. Lots of us have been hurt bad in the past. But hey, thats just my take on it....

Without knowing her or the situation it isn't really fair to comment on her motives or the reasons for her actions.

Maybe she is mentally ill and has a hard time seperating reality from fantasy/dreams, who knows.

Maybe she had to come up with an explanation for where she was, to avoid a beating from a boyfriend or parent, who knows.

Whatever the reason, it still doesn't make it acceptable.
