That reminds of another breakup story I had heard:
There were these two high school sweethearts in a small town who were inseparable and deeply in love with each other. The girl was heading off to a college hundreds of miles away, but he needed to stay back for a year to help out his parents. But they vowed to stay together and stay in touch constantly.
So off she went. For the first month or so, they wrote to each other every day and spoke on the phone every so often. But then the next month, the girl's letters slowed to a trickle and his phone calls were rarely returned by her. The next month after that, nothing. His letters were unanswered and his phone calls were never returned. He figured she was getting busy with course work but he still persisted with the daily letters.
Then one day, he receives a letter from her. Inside the envelope, there were two pictures of her in her dorm, naked.
