when I was younger
it was a quart of milk and potato chips dill pickle or garlic and onion.

well to be honest still do, on occasion

I love to eat,
rice beans and cabbage, throw in a sausage or any combination
toast and beans

grilled cheese
mac and cheese,
newfi steak

toast and milk, add a poached egg,

pasta, then you add whatever,
peas and ham mushrooms.

im a sucker for hamburger helper, beef stroganoff
but you can make your own with out the package,

im making borscht this weekend, not quick and easy, but you can make a big pot and freeze it in small containers
cabbage rolls the same, make lots then freeze,

but quick and easy, keep some nice cheese in the fridge it goes with any thing just crackers and wine,
tacos and salsa

oh god, did I mention I love to eat

maybe that is why I always had supper dates
food and sex, add some wine, that is heaven

^^ a manifestation of evil!! These foods are against my own religious beliefs, I’m flagging this post right now for being far too offensive to my delicate Keto eyes!!
Keto got kicked to the curb today, huge feast at work...my tummy still hurts.

lol love it, "cacadea" hahaa, sounds like something a kid would do :) just kidding hehehe :p

anyways for me, I get soo hungry it hurts (or start shaking sometimes, probably pre-diabetic) so I have to eat really fast, no time to warm up or make (unless I am in the mood which is rare), so my favorite is golden graham cereal, mmmm it's the best cereal I've ever had :O probably is I've tried most of them and they suck! all taste like corn pops all the same hmph!

@johnsmit

Leanne Brown (a Canadian if I remember right) wrote a cookbook for her university thesis called "Good and Cheap on $4/day" and she made it available free online. Google it. It was based on what the USA allows when someone is on foodstamps. Or whatever they call assistance there. That and a crockpot and you can eat pretty healthy on little money.

FYI Frozen fruit and veg are some of the tastiest you can get without being fresh as, they use what is too ripe for transport. So picked at peak flavour.

Found it http://www.leannebrown.ca/cookbooks
Another thing people should consider. An Instant Pot. It's an electric Pressure Cooker, Rice Steamer, Yogurt Maker, etc. The ultra version has a 99 hour timer. https://instantpot.com/
