With inflation continuing to squeeze consumers dry and the Ukraine war creating uncertainty in the markets, what plays are you guys making to take advantage of this?
I'm stocking up on whisky before the price increase hits. With inflation continuing to squeeze consumers dry and the Ukraine war creating uncertainty in the markets, what plays are you guys making to take advantage of this?
BNS, NWC & CGOTry not to, been ok so far, even last year up but not much.
Gonna change things as people are squeezed by interest rates, probably not going up much but not coming off anytime soon. My first house was at 9% thought it was a deal, was only a small amount compared to now but had a big dept for buiss in early 80s ,22% for a couple months and maybe 18 for the year. Impossible to make$ so lived on deprecation, hard lesson learned!!
Cheers
I love penny stocks but am getting to mature i thought but maybe one last 10 bagger, i passed on a couple lately though. Fun not recommended if you worry about your investments at night.
wow what compelled you to buy them?I just bought some CROX.
went from 40 something last July to 125 today. P/E around 14 to 1. Bit of buzz around it. Wish me luck.
Like I said. Bit of buzz around it. Low P/E . Read some good things about it's financial health. Was looking at it last summer but didn't buy when it was 40. Now it's 120. Hoping it will go higher in a couple of years. Hoping it wont turn into a CROCK.wow what compelled you to buy them?
North West Copper? Calamos? Not getting it. What’s the rationale if stock price swings more than dividends?BNS, NWC & CGO
Search for dividend paying stocks with low payout ratios and annual increases 🌟
Yeah I just dumped some of my oil stocks that was down all last quarter and beginning of the year... was happy to see it was green but maybe that was premature and I should've waited til Summer since consumption should only go higher now 🤔I bought Royal Dutch Shell when the oil and gas market tanked in 2014/15, and I bought some more when it tanked during covid.
I definitely would not recommend buying it now though because it has mostly recovered it's price.
