Mine has to be the ending of, The Devil's Rejects. All 3 of them driving down the highway, beat up and bloody, the soundtrack is, "Freebird". They stop the car, as there is a police roadblock up ahead, the song starts picking up. They gun it, heading straight for the cops, start firing, the song is in full flight, the bullets start flying from the cops... What a great ending with a perfect song to match!

For the most part, I was pretty impressed with that movie but interestingly, I felt like that ending was actually one of the weaker elements of the film. It's certainly well crafted and paced. But it seemed to serve to glorify these "rejects" that deserved no such glorification in my opinion.

Anyway, some favorites of mine include the love scene from Blade Runner. The mood, the music, the lighting and Sean Young circa 1982!

Excalibur's "Prepare for battle" scene. I also love the scene that immediately follows this sequence between Arthur and Guinevere at the convent when she returns Excalibur to him after he thought the sword was long since lost. Too bad it wasn't inlcuded in this clip:

And, of course, "The Ride of the Valkyries" from Apocalypse Now!

since Braveheart was mentioned.
The battle where Robert the Bruce betrays Wallace....
The King(Longshanks) says....(dont think i have the scene exact but close enuf)
king; Order the archers to fire on them..
2nd person; excuse me sir but wont we hit our own men?
king; Yes.... we'll hit their men too! we have reserves you know
(just the way he says it..sound so evil :) )

A Bridge Too Far
setting up scene..Brits hold one end of bridge. Germans other. Brits completely surrounded and taking a beating...carnage and wreckage of battle all around.
G=German, 1=brit commander, 2=brit 2nd in command.

G; walks across bridge with white flag to speak to brits....
2; thats far enuf we can hear you from there
G; my General says there is no point in continuing this fighting, he is willing to discuss a surrender.
1; (says to 2) Tell him to go to hell
2; (looks at german) we havent the proper facilitys to take you all prisoner..sorry
G; (incredulous) WHAT!?!?!?!
2; we'd like to, but we cant accept your surrender(german looks confused) was there anything else?
G; slowly turns..shaking his head and walks away.

high-end hottie

I'm not "highclasshottie"
movie moments

In Eyes Wide Shut:
The orgy at the upscale, masked party. And the scene where Tom Cruise is being tempted by the totally hot hooker but doesn't go through with it. Mmmmm, tease and denial.

In Kill Bill Vol. 2 when Darryl Hannah gets her eyeball ripped out and then Uma Thurman steps on it.

The original 60s Batman movie when Batman is trying to get rid of a bomb but there's no where to put it because he keeps running into innocent things like a group of nuns or a mother duck and ducklings in the water, etc. So hilariously stupid and cheesy.

O'Conner accuses Coburn of raping his daughter.
Coburn: That wasn't rape.
O'Conner: Well what do you call it then ?
Coburn: Assault with a friendly weapon.

Midnight express, not my favorite scene ever but one of the most powerful on many levels.... love, devotion, perserverance, renewal. I couldn't find the whole scene but for those who have seen it I think you could understand, for me it is the ultimate example of a womans compassion for a man.

So many great scenes over the years. The first one that comes to mind is from the movie "Night Shift" when Micheal Keaton is driving Henry Winkler in his car while describing how it's got all these cool features including tinted windows...he rolls by the cop car, starts fingering the cops, "right here buddy!"...damn funny! Oh I found a clip...

Thanks Nina :)

I couldn't pick one scene, it's my favorite movie of all time! But when Clarence confronts the pimp is a classic and so fucking cool.
This movie makes me cry with joy, best ending ever!

I'm coming clean here, Nina I love you. ;)
