Wall Street, the movie that inspired the lives of would-be investment bankers. The Greed is Good speech is still very much prevalent in the financial world. Looking forward to the timely sequel subtitled " Money Never Sleeps ".
Danny de Vito's " Other People's Money " movie about corporate raiders.
My favorite sports movie would be " Any Given Sunday ". Written by a true gentleman and debonaire TE Jamie Williams of the San Francisco 49ers. Oliver Stone loved it and bought the rights and made the movie. The planned sequel never took off the ground as Al Pacino doesn't believe in making sequels.
Favorite James Bond movie would be " Casino Royale ". The start of a new kind of Bond movie, none of the kiss-kiss-bang-bang stuff of old but a James Bond who is raw, gets hurts physically and emotionally, and actually falls in love with a woman! Nice quip from Casino Royale - women are not disposable pleasures ( which it was in other Bond movies ) but worthwhile pursuits.
