ok man heres the thing... is not that one pound of fat is more or less weight than one pound of muscle... its that if you took it out and put it in a bucket the muscle bucket would be less full than the same weight of fat.
just like 1 pound of solid aluminum would take up more space than 1 pound of lead, or gold, or concrete.
its called relative density.... relative to what you may wonder, relative to water, which has a density of 1. now if something(fat) is less dense than water it will float ... if it is more dense(muscle) it will sink. a prime example would be concrete has a approximate relative density of 2.4. this means that to get the same weight , you would need 2.4 times more water than concrete.
