Cats and dogs can be great friends. I used to live with a Rottweiler and 2 cats. Micky the boy cat was boss of everybody. My last roommate had a black lab and I had 3 cats (I had 2 but I was looking after a third). Lola would lick my cats head and she loved it. My current cat loves dogs. Cats not so much. But dogs, she’s like “let’s snuggle”.
