Edit: I think these guys don't realize that the girls will just leave for cities who will pay their rates if enough start haggling. Either that or they'll just quit working. One hand feeds the other in this industry, and unfortunately BOTH sides forget that sometimes.

I am retired from seeing girls. I guess I still get interested on the topics. I am also worried about a HIV provider that keeps changing her ad and advertising. Her last ad she posted very open minded nothing about safe play.

I for one did see the power of this forum. So many girls just simply could not get work. I think I wrote what around 1200 + reviews? Probably more some of my posts had 5 or more girls on it. Ironic how I am a one woman man now.

Exactly the guys just cannot afford it. Average income in Winnipeg isn't very high.

Most of the money really does go to drugs here. So it isn't really going back into our local economy. Have you seen the pictures of where these girls live?

In a perfect world the market place would be balanced. When the market becomes unbalanced then either the supply needs to be lower or the demand needs to be lower to bring it back into balance. Good operators are able to read the tea leaves and adapt and continue on while poor operators simply can't or refuse to adapt and fall by the wayside.

It's not real complicated.

What I see is that the issue is service not price. Substandard service, rip offs and the like are out of line at any price.
It reminds of a tie I wanted to buy recently.
The one on the rack had a run in it so I asked the clerk for another. The lady offered me a discount on the one I had. I laughed, I didn't want an obviously flawed tie at any price - no matter how low.

The answer is information. This board should be buzzing for Winnipeg if the climate for girls is so nefarious. Personally I don't want to spend any amount of money on a bad experience - not just $300.

I am not even use to spending $300 in Edmonton... and that was Edmonton! The differences in average income between the two cities is high.

I guess the quality of clients also changes. I mean really if the rates go up high enough guys should go back to dating. I mean It is what a cost of a meal and, waiting at most three dates?

When I started seeing girls mid 2011 prices were 200/hr, now 300/hr.
I don't remember getting a 50% raise myself!

I'm not saying they're better. However you eliminate a lot of the riff raff. Sure you may miss out on some cool clients, but it's a small sacrifice in the long run. You get guys who are far more serious about it, who seem to be more respectful of your time and boundaries etc. I'm NOT saying that those guys don't exist in a lower bracket, I'm saying the riff raff doesn't exist in the higher bracket.

That statement simply is not true.

The same guy can act many different ways on any amount of money.

Enough of this - can we close this thread, please? The points have been made ad nauseam. Providers are free to charge whatever they want - clients have the option of choosing not to see those providers if they want. Clients are likewise entitled to ask for a discount - providers are under no obligation to accept such requests or provide services that they are not comfortable providing. Under no circumstances, however, will I put up with clients demanding I personally boycott providers or demand discounts from them - that is my choice and my choice alone.

Ladies: if clients are harassing you, complain to the mods. Hopefully that will put a stop to this soon enough.

Using price as a way to be selective of your clients works for SP's that actually give service worth what they are asking. Any pooner willing to lay down $300+ for a session isn't going to repeat unless they got a $300 session.

But you can probably do OK having a lot of single $300 sessions. And if you post 2 or 3 ads a day, someone is going to answer. Just a law of averages.

But, by actually earning the $300, or easier, earning a $200 fee, you can build a clientelle. And you can see (by the way they disappear from advertising) the ladies that have been building their business this way.
