What do you feel is a fair price to see a SP?

With some talk on the boards of how prices affect us pooners, what do you think is a fair price to see a SP ... be realistic here. I am basing this poll on an hour appointment, GFE (YMMV here).

A follow-up question, would you see a SP more often if the prices were to revert to prices of 2002? Post a comment, if you wish.

Becasue of this I think it is crazy to pay more than 200 for a providers services! I used to love picking up street walkers back in the 90's on richards where there were always hotties and you could get it all for 100

If your in TS's boat then I could see SP's as being just adding some spice to the stew, and if the price is to high or she is booked all weekend then tough shit, try some other time, might be as long as 5-6mos before you bother phoning her again.

If your some horny single businessman with a wad of dough and in the city on biz then I could easily see dropping 3-4 bills a done deal.

And then the third situation. You rarely leave the city, you make fairly good coin and like to poon. So since you rotate amon what your local city offers and you go a few times a month you need to keep the budget in check and if you blow it all on two 400 bone sessions then you pretty much gonna be jerkin off the rest of the month, so the 200 and even lower session are appreciated.

Then theres me. I hit the SW's because I've retired SP's. I love my electronic and car toys, and blowing two+ bills on some rompty bompty is just a out 'n out waste of dough in my opinion. Let the chicks get regular 9-5 jobs if they don't like it.

I have a completely different point of view.

A fair price could be determined by comparing SPs to other professions/businesses. The price you pay could be determined by:

* The time/effort/cost to get a qualification in that profession (i.e. Doctor - lot of effort; Ditch Digger - zero)
* The time/effort/cost that business has to put in for premises, advertising, licenses, support staff, tools of the trade (i.e. Plumber - truck, tools, plumbing materials, licenses; Dog Walking Service - zero)
* Preparation and actual time, effort, and degree of difficulty to provide the service (i.e. Brian Surgeon - high effort; Parking Lot Attendent - low effort)

Taking these factors into consideration, I believe most SP prices are too high.

What an SP charges has nothing to do with education, time in the business or effort. It's like anything else -- it's what the market is willing to pay.

Some SPs are more attractive, have better bodies and treat their clients much better than other SPs , therefore, they'll charge more. The only criteria applicable is this: what are you willing to pay to have sex with a particular SP? It's as simple as that. Some SPs I would pay $500 to have sex with them, while others I wouldn't pay $100.

I don't know.., I think it is very hard to control it...I always give in and willing to pay a bit more for better services and better look (even though service has to be top notch, but the look is quite important to me too..., just one time I happened to see a so called" EI" SP, when I arrived, she told me shes Fijian, it was stupid of me not leaving right away. I stayed and wasted my $$ for not blowing anything at all, face did not look good at all, body was terrible, and worse of all, the dead fish.......

Lurker you make an excellent point. On many, many occasions I surrendered to my desire and paid more for the services of an SP than I should have. I knew better but I was thinking with the wrong head. I remember being in a Gentlemen's Club in New Orleans and this beautiful young lady, with very large breasts came and sat down with us and started chatting. Before you know it, I'm in a room upstairs with the Club having my credit card and I left there after spending $400 US just to sit with this woman for an hour and play with her breasts. Was it worth it? Absolutely not! I was a bloody fool and made a vow, that I would never again pay a lady that much money just for titillation.

For some guys, $500 is a lot to pay just to get your rocks off. For others, they're willing to pay more than $1,000 to have sex and intimacy with a beautiful woman that they may otherwise not have access to. It's an individual thing.

I for one think the rates in Vancouver, and particularly Victoria, are very, very reasonable.
