This is my baby that I absolutely love. She is my little rocket money pit car, but in the end she has been worth it. She is my vrooom Vrooom car 92 Geo Storm GSi. Had to have a bigger altinator built so she could handle all my neon, toys, and my 1000 watt amp :D notice the decal on the side?...BadGirl

uh...Edmonton.
well....

...I drive a CCM 21 speed aluminum tube bicycle. I am going to upgrade to a hybrid c/w disc brakes shortly...funny how things change. I used to drool at car showrooms...now I can't stop stopping at the local bike shop.

As for insurance, I have dispensed with it. What started as a personal challenge....drive for one year regardless of weather....has turned into a life changing decision. I studded my own tires this winter and there were only 6 odd days when I had to walk or take the big blue limo simply because of excessive snow cover.

My kids have gotten used to the notion, my friends alternate between grudging respect and rolling their eyes, and for myself...well...I doubt I will be purchasing another vehicle. Certainly not for everyone, but it works for me!

Now off to go build something...have a great day.

Cherokee because I cart 2 large dogs around, I like space and I like comfort. It's old but I just dont see myself buying new, with a desperation of 30% driving off the lot is insane.

I've had it a year almost with only a grand in it recently to do regular maintenance. New tires, new battery and posts, the rest was normal wear and tear.

Someone told me that any vehicle will last well into 400,000 km if maintenance is done regularly.

Jenn....I honestly was'nt calling you a gold-digger, the question just got my attention.....a question that really makes my skin crawl

By the way I have seen your rates and I just thought you were lost :)

The best answer I've ever heard to that question was at a Calgary niteclub:

Q) What to you drive? giggle
A) You....As soon as the roofie kicks in

And Daisy.......Grumpy...you bet....ever since you retired ;)

Right now, an 87 piece of crap:mad: . Looked at the new Mustang Convertibles but when I sat in the seat, my line of vision was even with the frame above the windshield  So much for the mid-life crisis car. Really like the looks of the Hyundai Santa Fe, gonna check them out, but I will get a 03 or 04. not gonna drive a new one off the lot just to lose 5 grand

A 1999 F-150. In the small towns in Alberta I've had people sneer at me and call me "rich boy" under there breath ect as it I maintain it and clean it regularly so it looks snazzy. It's a fucking F-150 you lazy fucking hicks get a real job.
