i just spent a grand or so on a bicycle im kind of giddy.

i just handed the sales men a wad of cash and said give me that one.
i knew which one i wanted as soon as i walked in the store.

he started talking me through all the stuff adjustments and there warrenty and bs.
i waved at him just give me the dam bike,
then he said he will take it to the tech guy and make sure every thing is tight no loose bolts,
no i shook my head just give me the dam bike allready.
did i say i love biking,

of course it had to snow, but wtf.
i have got a bike,
its better then sex.

Take the dog for a daily 6km hike (rain, snow or hell breaking loose) then hit the dog park for an hour or so.

I have 3 dogs and we run 10K/day together.

I also have a full gym at my house, and generally do another 45 mintues to an hour of cardio there while I am doing business calls for one of my other companies. Weights at home 2-3 times a week, and then get my butt kicked with boot camp.

I train with an ex navy seal 3 times a week, which involves all sorts of fun stuff like warming up with lunge walks with weights for 500 meters, then squat walks with weights for another 500 meteres, then more lunge walks etc.....before going into the hard part of the training (about 3 hours total each time)

Dance 4-12 hours a week, and try to play sports as often as I can (tennis, basketball, rugby, soccer, hiking etc.)

That explains your itty-bitty waist! :)

I like group fitness like step classes and boot camp, sometimes I alternate walking/jogging.... I would love to run a marathon!

Angel is my hero though!

I weight train 3-4 days/week. Not bad for a guy approaching 40, I guess.

For exercise and relaxation at the same time, to me nothing beats a good brisk walk. I like going for walks along a nice trail, or somewhere like Spanish Banks.

That's an impressive regimen you've got going there, but it sounds like you're training 30-40 hours a week, or up to six hours a day (not even including recreational sports) -- how on earth do you find time to do anything else?? I would be exhausted just trying to keep up with that routine, let alone having to see clients, attend to a business, etc! :)

Do you ever worry that you might be over-training yourself? It doesn't look like you've built in much time for rest and recovery, which I find is sometimes as important as the training itself. I'm curious to hear your point of view and how you deal with muscle recovery, etc.

I just started going to the gym 2 months ago. I used to go swimming before school twice a week, but now that I just had finals and school's out...

I invested in $40/mo (student rate) at a gym and go every single day, it's much easier now with an ipod to ellipt (?) to. 1-2hrs, and hoping to get a personal trainer soon.

One word: CrossFit, I do it three days on, one day off. Sometimes I do the CrossFit Endurance workout as well. These are two different programs designed to work with each other.
