What do they mean by "upscale residence"?

I'm new, sort of, to this thing. I've done it before, seven times or so, but a few were in Europe and the rest were incalls in Alberta. Just moved out here and noticed that several providers mention that they'll do outcalls to 'upscale residences'. Is 'upscale' code for "condo yuppies live in" or code for "not a crack den"?

Also, what is the deal with providers who will only take "mature gentlemen"? What's wrong with younger dudes who have a little money to burn and don't want a girlfriend at the moment and don't go clubbing? Are younger "pooners" generally jerks, or...?

They are referring to places that they feel safe going to. They understand discretion, but don't want to go to a place that is so secluded that there is a concern for a potentially dangerous situation. It's risky for them to do an outcall at a house or a neighbourhood with a bad reputation.

Ah, fair enough. I just feel kinda weirded out by the tone of escort agencies and independent ads; they seem aimed at a very specific audience (older businessmen etc. ) that is decidedly not me (I make my money outside the 9-5 racket and no, I'm not a criminal). I wonder what the actual demographics are like.

And re: girth-brooks's comment, yeah, good to know. I don't live in a bad neighbourhood or in a house. It's just not what I would call "upscale," which ties back into the alienation thing I mentioned above.

Every lady will have her own definition and reasons, but in general "Upscale Residence" means an area that the lady feels safe going to. In a good area of town, not a condo with room mates hanging around etc.

As for not wanting to entertain younger gentlemen - I have heard three main reasons.
1) The lady actually prefers slightly older gentlemen, so why not cater exclusively to her preference?
2) The belief (often inaccurate) that younger men are not as reliable or respectful as more mature gentlemen.
3) It's also a very common request with ladies who have children in their teens or early 20's. A combination of not wanting to run into somebody their kid knows, or it just creeps them out to be intimate with somebody closer in age to their kid than them.

If there is a lady you are interested in seeing who states she will not entertain gentlemen as young as you are, you can always send a mature and polite email, mentioning that you have read her site, and while you are are younger than her preferred age, you are quite mature and very serious about arranging for a sensual liaison.

Some ladies have some wiggle room in their decisions, while others never waver.

When I say Mature Gentlemen, what I mean is not about age.. but how you carry yourself. There are plenty of men & women (myself included) that consider ourselves "Mature"... doesn't mean I'm/We are old... Just means we have a mature attitude. There are plenty of gentlemen that are not 'Mature' & they are 40+

As long as you contact a lady respectfully & let her know you are a certain age, but you contact her with respect. Then I think there shouldnt be an issue.. Unless, as Classy Angel stated they are one of the 3 things mentioned.


Upscale residences usually mean, safe location.. no weirdos hanging around, no dump (rodents, bugs infested etc)
