I got roped into watching it with one of my FWB's and ooo eee am glad I did.

It was deadly dull. This is the worst crop of foreign film nominees I've ever seen. All of them. But then, so are the regular nominees. Hasd anyone tried to watch the wretched Marty Supreme? Chalamet was never believeable as any kind of athlete, even ping pong.

I actually like some of his movies. He has a 40 year resume of some very good movies. The Firm from 1993 A few good men. Those movies didn't suck. He seemed to carry his own in both of them.

I just watched "Young People Fucking" on Prime Video.

Have you watched Shetland? One of the best I have ever seen. No car chases, shoot-outs etc., just good solid drama and character development.

Just binged the whole lot to season 4 and trying to slow down consumption to make it last! What a great series! Gary Oldman is fantastic as Jackson Lamb. Kristen Scott Thomas really found her best role as well. Thanks for recommending it!

Season 5 is a baller! I'm pumping the brakes on binging it, but it's such a great series that I'm just eating it up!

I hope they continue for a while longer. If worse comes to worse, I will just watch it all over again from the beginning!
