I don't know if anyone can relate, but I seem to be having a shift about what I want from providers given the comments and responses I've had over the last week here.

I think it's safe to say I think most pooners are looking for great sex, whether it be PSE/GFE or S&M style. Everyones idea of what constitutes good sex is of course, a matter of personal preference.
Just curious to see if tastes, expectations and experiences have changed for anyone over their pooning experience?

It used to be a hot body, great attitude and willingness to participate is all it took to make a session great. Those are what we look for with help from the various review forums.
Don't get me wrong, it's still important.

But yesterday, I had a different experience. It had me looking at what can I offer to others too.

Maybe it was the fact she was so young, and I had some experience to share. It was fun watching her face light up, see her squealing with delight at the sensuality of simple touches in areas not normally considered erogenous. Part was the innocence, yet down to earth attitude of why she was doing this work.

In part it was the connection of mind and similar likes in what sensuality was. It's what I felt when I was giving and seeing her reaction and willingness to recieve.

I respected her decision to not allow daty or full service, and it didn't matter to me. The service was secondary, at least this time.

Maybe I'm just full of s**t and just a pervert for enjoying the fact I could show something new to someone relatively inexperienced in the sex trade. There is a very satisfying smugness knowing that she hadn't seen it all yet and I was the one to show her.

Maybe I'm ready for a companion in my life. Someone to connect with on a level more than just the physical.

Maybe I'm just pondering and wondering if this is making any sense?
I have no idea where this is going.

Maybe I'm just looking for love in all the wrong places. Maybe it's time to give love a chance instead of the little head.

 I've been at this game way too long now I think.

Well, first and foremost I like someone who is not afraid to try anything and is not afraid to experiment. Infact experimentation is highly encouraged and can add that extra spark during a session. :)

Lowqtus, I can appreciate your comments ...

and suggest the following:

1. It is your personal choice if DATY or FS is necessary. You have every right to seek out the Services that you enjoy. Your Review is simply useful to others to know what they can expect. You are not expected to ravage every SP to the fullest extent so that we can have a juicier Review (LOL)!

2. I look for Attitude then Service then Looks. Eye Candy is the bait, dreams of Sexy erotic Service is the fantasy and Attitude is the primary foundation for a memorable session.

3. You do not want to see SP's if you are "Maybe I'm just looking for love in all the wrong places". This is their business. They spend time with us to get a reward to maintain their lifestyle. We are almost never more than a good customer. I know there are exceptions but they are few and far apart. If you want "a companion in my life" you are definitely looking in the wrong Forum. That does not mean that it may not ocurr, it simply means there are more appropriate places to be looking.

Given this sage advice, I too have been bitten badly in this Hobby by the infatuation bug more than once. Fortunately I have understood the need to separate the four Hobby factors - Sex, Intimacy, Friendship and Love. The first three can safely be found in the hobby and make for great sessions. The 4th factor, Love, should generally be avoided because it brings too much confusion and is not what the Hobby is about.

My 2 cents.

Thanks Trawler

I definitely don't go into providers looking for anything long term. I agree it is easy to get bitten by infatuation and I have done more than my share of indulgence with a favorite provider until they are out of favor...

I think I'm evolving and realizing there's more to life than the fantastic realization of sexual fantasies come true.

On a philosophical note, if everyone got out all their sexual frustrations in a constructive way, I don't believe we would be seeing nearly the kind of anger violence and devience in the world today.

my 2 centavos worth....

lowqtus, I do so agree with the following statement:

I've also had bouts of infatuation with some SPs. Not because the sex was so damn fine, but sometimes you do hit the right emotional buttons with each other. Most of us poon as a biological initiative to rut with much of the herd as possible, but with the right girl (SP or otherwise) it can be an almost spiritual experience.

I was out on a blind date tonight...and she was much better than I expected. Very attractive, intelligent and funny with a lot of depth in her soul. We sat and chatted all evening. We thoroughly enjoyed each other's company and plan to get together again soon.

I'm not going to jump to conclusions after just a first date, no matter how well it goes. But I can't help but ask myself if I can walk away from pooning if I find "the one". Many guys here have. But I've been at this for so long now that it's almost in my blood and I do tend to get set in my ways.

Also, if I find the love of my life and the relationship takes that sexual leap forward, will that be as good as what I've encountered as a pooner? Unless she's a total cold fish, I like to think it will be a "yes" because now there's even more of an emotional and psychological factor that makes it that more special. But will I still be comparing her to Virginia, Ashley, Shawna, Gabrielle, Ingrid, Monique and others who have totally wowed me with their L/A/S?

But most importantly, am I now ready for another long-term relationship after some bad hurtin' in the past? That's the real reason I've doing this pooning thing...getting laid without the courtship/dating/relationship rituals and all the baggage and bullshit and trauma that comes with it. But maybe I'm now more wiser to those pitfalls and learned a lot from those past experiences. And I think my time with SPs has taught me a thing or two as well. Maybe it is time for another crack at it.

Meanwhile, a lot of SPs are reading this and praying that "Wolvie" doesn't get taken! ;)

Hey Wolvie ...

don't get sentimental on me. You are one of the last few survivors of the 1000 post team that still do Reviews (wink)!

Now that "one in a lifetime Girl" must also be a Pooner to qualify. Don't you think? In which case your dilemna is solved. A SO other who poons with you. NIRVANA (huge grin).

Question Wolvie.

So what happens if it does become a couple thing?
Do you continue to poon?
Would you ever come clean and let her know about that part of your life?
How do you not compare your ultimate experiences with your current beau?

Trawler, the SP SO would be ideal, but can you live with the idea that she might find someone else thru her work encounters?

I already raised some of those questions and possible answers, lowqtus. The one new question you asked is if I tell her about my pooning. Well, I suppose that depends on how open-minded she is.

What SP SO? trawler is talking about a pooning SO.

Wolfie, you understood me exactly ...

"What SP SO? trawler is talking about a pooning SO."

lowqtus, I have never been jealous or afraid that "Trawler, the SP SO would be ideal, but can you live with the idea that she might find someone else thru her work encounters?" because I see sex as a recreational activity whereas Love is a mental commitment. I know the recreation can lead to Love but even then I am confident that a strong shared honest relationship with your SO will make it so she is not looking for Love and the only concerns will be those little periods of infatuation. Am I a Dreamer or what (LOL)?

Right, my mistake.
My mind automatically went to SP, go figure.

Amazingly, I have seen relationships where both partners recreate with other lovers. Not yet been in the situation myself yet but am looking forward to the day.

It's a rocky, roller coaster emotional ride for sure, but the confidence and self understanding that they gained in coming out the otherside leave me in admiration of their relationships.

I agree with with you Trawler, that the essence of such relationships is to be open and honest as possible.
I can only hope I will be as willing to love and allow my partner to be.

No you're not dreaming. I believe it is possible.
That needle in a haystack means going thru a lot of women....bring them on!!
