Congratulations! I've been sober myself for 3 years now. I don't miss my old lifestyle one bit. Hardest/best decision I ever made.

Aw thanks for all the well-wishes about my sobriety! I honestly couldn’t have done it without you all. Being self-employed has given me the freedom to really prioritise recovery. Pfffff what a lovely community

Well I just pushed my 50 lengths (1.25 km) from breaststroke, no pun intended, to 250m breaststroke & 1km front crawl then Friday it came crashing down as I’m fighting a head cold & only got 900 & thought I was gonna die so took day off, cuddled up in a blanket & watched Ben Hur

I held the heavy door on the ferry for an elderly lady with a walker, followed by a mom with a baby, ance since the flow continued, I kept it open for what what looked like a 6’ 5 260Lb heavy diesel mechanic. We just did the guy nod thing. The ladies said thankyou.

But I thought I shoulda got granny’s phone number for some crazy bend-over-the-walker sex. Does that invalidate the good deed?
