What are the risks of seeing a regular

The three big risks are injury, death, AND or spreading the virus.
Im not seeing anyone and my regulars are all on hiatus.

This is a question to get people's opinions (more of a topic for discussion) and not meant to point the finger at anyone or call them out (so don't name names)...

If and when this whole thing is over (whenever that may be), would you see someone that advertised during the pandemic?

Regulars are safe because they have been issued alien vaccines making them immune to the virus. Doesn't matter who they are as long as they're someone's "regular".

My “regular” is still seeing other regular clients of hers. As much as I’d love to go see her, I just can’t risk my family with that given what’s going on. I just wish and hope she remains healthy through all this.

And to answer Real Sonny’s question...it would not influence my decision at all, post pandemic, to see someone who continued to see clients during this period.

There must be perb members still seeing there regulars
Are you asking for permission? Looking for validation? Does it really matter if someone else chooses behavior that's deemed risky/dangerous (not just for the two involved)? Your choice is your own, but if you're seeking an 'atta boy', you'll not get one from me.

Should be safe as long as you stay within the Greater Vancouver Regional District Regular Pooning Community.

Risks? Besides all those mentioned already, STI's, repercussions for breaking the laws re prostitution & disobeying COVID-19 orders, fatal vehicular accident, criminals & street people lurking the streets these days to rob, etc

What medical services are available these days if one gets infected with a STI?

When this pandemic blew up here, and I saw some ladies still advertising, my initial reaction was "how could she?" Within a few days of that reaction, I came to realize that most of our favorite ladies probably would not get a lot of financial help from the government like a lot of others will. It became a matter of survival, and yes, some are still getting some income from the online stuff, but is that enough? Instead of anger, I started to feel bad for how I initially felt and for the situation the ladies are in.
I wish I could help them but the struggle for my financial survival is real and that is part of why my mindset changed.

I have spoken about this of a few boards now. I was one to stop working before Ontario was put on lock down. I did it some time before March break.

Others have not been able to do so and have been shamed for it. I have suggested that ladies change their ads with different pics/names to work during this time, or only see regulars because of possibly post COVID-19 blacklisting.

It can be so hard. I have an online paid site, and you are right, it does not bring in anywhere near what would be needed monthly. I am mostly enjoying creating the content, over getting paid for it.

Some of us, like myself, have other sources of income and savings, but others .... this has now become survival. Which is sad. Then to be shamed for it, because you have to, and you are out there, but men are not equally shamed because they are hidden. I can just imagine the frustration.

And the fear of being out there and having to face that risk.

I have helped two ladies through my site donations. It doesn’t get them to stop working, but it can be a couple less clients needed to be taken.

Amen Jessica! :amen: Love your post, and thank you for your honest message.
It is so sad to see SPs being bashed by these men online hiding behind their computers and phones, accusing them for not caring about clients, themselves, their family or anyone else, for still working during these crazy times. Even saying things like if SPs that are still working now then they'll be put on their never to do list etc. We "hobbyists" have hundreds or thousands to spend on SPs a year because we are able to, and have EI, savings etc. to fall back onto.

You think if these ladies had an option to not work and still be able to make enough money to pay bills, school, debt etc. they would?

We all need a little more compassion, kindness and understanding during these times.

Stay safe, strong, and healthy everyone! :hippie: :love_heart:

Everyone's risk level is different.

And one should also take into consideration the other people you have contact with in your life, are any of them in a high risk for death group?

Not all SPs who are currently working are doing so out of desperation. Some are doing it by choice after assessing the data, thinking critically, and proceeding accordingly. And regularly reassessing their decision as more data comes in. And some of us are doing this to PREVENT ourselves from falling into a desperate situation.

#1 rule of sex work, protect your finances. Always aim to keep yourself in a position where you can be extremely selective with the clients you take on.

Unfortunately I think for some girls it comes down to trying to find a balance between what society now requires of all of us and their ability to pay rent and for food. Regrettably the majority still advertising at Leo or reaching out to regulars at this time may have other needs for cash, including addictions.

One who originally communicated with me expressed her fears of catching this and stated she was going to stay isolated. I told her I was doing the same and not wanting to take any risks. Three weeks later she texted me again, asking if I wanted to see her and I checked Leo and saw she had begun advertising services.

When I replied that I did not want to take any risk at this time, the next text I received was somewhat cold.

We all need to make our own decisions and unfortunately nothing will ever return back to normal.

This, 100 per cent. Thank You, Miss Hunter, for your well-thought-out responses and consistently being a voice of reason.
