Alone in the wilderness is awesome! Also like Big Bang Theory. That's about it though.Just news & Canucks.
Honestly, every time Alone in the Wilderness is on I just have to watch it as I am so impressed how ahead of his time Dick Proenekke was. People are finally now are doing green roofs and trying to live footprint free and he was doing this decades ago. I still wonder though if Dick didnt have the odd escort flown in for a few days. Im sure he could make a sweet dildo out of birch wood

The best show on TV is Mad Men and IMO is one of the top 5 TV shows of all time. Jon Hamm is the best actor in the game right now, be it TV or movies. He's a funny motherfucker, too. Matthew Weiner has great attention to detail, the cinematography is amazing. the stories are compelling and the characters are easy to like (and hate, fuckin' Pete Campbell).

Seasons 1-3 and Season 5 of Entourage were great but the last season was the actors fulfilling their contractual obligation. It was pretty lame. But when it was good it was awesome.

From my signature quote, it is obvious I am an Eastbound and Down fan. I have yet to see Season 3 (its last) but I am looking forward to it.

I am a big foody so I can always watch Iron Chef .My fav food show is Man vs Food. Adam Richmond is a great host and I love how he interacts with the people he interviews. You can tell he loves his job.

A lot of people here love the Big Bang Theory. I think it is the most OVERRATED show on TV. The creepy Jewish guy is the only one who is funny and the comedy is mediocre at the best of times. i think it benefited from being in a great time slot and up against nothing else in its early years and people watch it more out of habit. Even for Chuck Lorre its pretty weak comedy.

Saw some Love for Archer, too. I almost never see it but it cracks me up every time. I wonder how many times he has been shot and how many were self inflicted lol.

Fringe and Breaking Bad are good shows I just never really got into them. The latter is the better of the two, with Fringe just being the X Files with alternate dimensions. Bryan Cranston is such a great actor and can do both comedy and drama seamlessly. I want him to play a comic book villain in a big blockbuster movie. Maybe the Riddler in an upcoming Batman flick????

The LA Complex

I like this new cool series on CTV and MuchMusic " The LA Complex ". Its about talented Canadians trying to make it in Hollywood. Like HBO's Entourage, it really shows what happens in Hollywood. Reminds of me of that documentary in 2004 " Camp Hollywood " where the setting took place in a motel where all the characters stayed. The Canadian writer Martin Gero might have been inspired by it. Plus, Vancouver's Chelan Simmons of Good Luck Chuck fame is such a hottie. I always stand up and cheer whenever Canadians make it in Hollywood where discrimination is still pretty much prevalent.

Unfortunately, the US debut on CW last Tuesday wasn't that good with less than 700K viewers but I love this show. :thumb:

So true. After the 5th, all you wanna do is look at Montreal's Emmanuelle Chriqui lol. Sasha Grey was an added bonus by the 7th. Overall, such a cool and awesome show.

Game Of Thrones and Walking Dead are the only shows that matter to me.
When it comes to reality ones, my only favorites are Deadliest Catch, Storage Wars, and Survivor, only because it was the pioneer...

No arguments there:thumb:.

I just finished watching the Frozen Planet on Discovery. Nature shows are the reason you need an HDTV, breath taking views and animals in action. Although the final episode about the thinning ice was a little depressing...

I love Jon Hamm and Mad Men is easily in my top 5 list of tv shows as well, but Bryan Cranston wins straight up as the best actor on television right now (and I'm not even huge fan of Breaking Bad).

Peter Dinklage is probably a close second as Tyrion Lannister, then Damian Lewis for Homeland and then Hamm.
H Jon Benjamin is my personal favorite TV actor for Archer and Bobs Burgers.

I also don't get why people watch the Big Bang Theory... it's not funny nor is it as smart or innovative as Community.

A couple of new shows I'm really enjoying are Suburgatory and DTTBIA23. Both have strong leads (Jane Levy, Kristen Ritter, and Dreama Walker) and really great supporting casts. Solid B comedies with the potential.

Plus I am totally crushing on Dreama Walker right now.

ABC's " Secret Millionaire "

On the weekends, I always look forward to ABC's " Secret Millionaire ".

Still get goose bumps whenever I watched the said show. No matter where you are in the hierarchy of needs ladder, it still feels freakin' awesome when you use your life to make a difference in the lives of other people. :thumb:
