Few SPs don’t even write a person-identity; they just have “no blacks”. It is very dehumanizing.
I experience trepidation as I browse and open an ad. All initial excitement I have looking for a SP is blunted by the apprehension that several add will inevitably shun and stigmatize my blackness. All my personhood reduced to one thing—melanin.
Black gents that I know of favor legalization for all the common and obvious reasons (eg safety, medical coverage, workplace hazard protection, decriminalization, etc) but we add another layer, protection from discrimination from service providers.
I would really appreciate a website with SPs that are inclusive to clients of all ethnicities.
While someone creates this inclusive SP website, LL can at the very least allow potential and existing clients to filter by SPs’ ethnic preferences. That way I can filter out SPs who have a bias against Black gents. This would certainly save me from feeling like crap and from the hits to my sense of self and self-esteem every time I go on LL!
