Instead of WHERE.. he is making a joke and saying it should
have been WERE... as in "were a mod" referring to Kevs post "I know where (were) you are coming from"

The fact is that Kev had it right to begin with. My first language is French and I know that "where" refer to a place where as "were" is a tense of the verb be. Even though Kev did refer to the fact that he used to be a mod, that particular sentence still refers to Kev knowing "where" WCM is coming from as in place.

I don't know what is going on, but I am seeing a pattern here looking at posts from Bull, yvrpooner, drromance and bustier that is bordering on provocative.
