Blues Bar

Check out "The Skinny" on 16th Ave NW on the noth side between 10st West and 14st. It is in the corner of a strip mall. Has live Blues. I have never been there so cannot tell you how good it is.

next time i'm in In, i'll check out those places. will hopefully be coming back up soon. need info and help with ADVERTISING, right mods. i did check out tantra, and a pub/pitch black niteclub/sumthin or other place. left. i guess my "babe" face..ha ha ha...foiled my attempt to get into whisky so tantra was as much fun. and the one after hours i saw had door guys with egos that were obviously meant to make up for possible lack of something else. eh hem....anyways. hardup...i am cumin back for my creamsicle...so.......it better be there!!!

calgary a night life? most of the people are inside by dark jk jk. i'm not sure where good blues lounges are but i do know that all of 17th ave sw (downtown) have great lounges, mostly martini lounges. for dance clubs we really don't have much of a selection at all. the only place i can think of is the mynt, tantra & the whiskey (on certain nights). the only after hours i can think of that is still operating is the warehouse (fri & sat) they play hard house, trance, break beats, etc....the door men do seem alittle up tight but that cause they have their hands really full lol. detours also plays awesome music.....it is a gay bar ....just to inform you.
if you are travelleing and haven't been to these places.......go to vegas and montreal.....no one there sleeps
ps tantra this friday is suposed to be pretty good. it is a playboy night, a hot playboy dj and some playmates

Blues...i think their is a place called kaos. It used to be on 17th ave. Now i think it has moved to somewhere near td square? I haven't been there since it has moved. But I liked the place before.
