Can't have too much sympathy for immigrants. The hoards are incompetent, tried to solve their every problem with increased numbers. Made their own bed. Turn them back and let them sleep in it.

When governments make budgets for its departments it uses the status quo to help with budgeting. The extra money has to come from other budgets etc. Immigration got hit with the Syrian Refugees a few years ago. Now with the refugees coming through the states, more legwork is required to process them; to check on their claims. You also have to train people on how to process the extra refugees... Also if you take a employee from Toronto and send him to Quebec to process refugees, the gov has to have accommodations and feed the employee away from his home base.
Yes people from the 3rd world want to get out of their countries and come to places like Canada and US.
One of the reason we take these refugees is because Canada needs more people. Take the size of Canada, our population, global warming,world pop pressure and you can see Canada is a prime place to put people; but so is Siberia....
So lets remember that all people that are white in Canada immigrated here from other places on the globe. It might of been your great great grandparents or your parents. There is no nobility in Canada.... No entitlement but you have a vote. If you think you are entitled, you should go someplace else...

If these refugees would put as much effort into solving the problems in their own country as they do trying to get into foreign countries, they would have better lives in their own country.
I myself would fight to fix my country than leave. But then again I live in a wonderful Country worth fighting for.
It’s a really tough call. I’m in for helping but it always comes down to who is legit and who is going to pay?!
