My experience from a long time ago:
I had booked an incall. When the time arrived there was a knock at the door and when I opened it she was standing in the hallway wearing a knee length coat. She had her hands on her hips holding it open and she was wearing an almost nonexistent shear bodysuit and thigh high black boots (it's amazing how much we can notice in only 2 or 3 seconds). Then we recognized each other. She was a server in a restaurant I frequented a town over.
"Oh no! I was afraid this would happen!" she said and then the tears began flowing.
She started talking about how everything is ruined now etc. I asked her to step inside for a second and she hesitated. I told her not to worry, nothing was going to happen; I just couldn't have her standing in the hallway dressed to kill and crying.
She came in and I pulled a "Sheldon Cooper" and offered her a hot beverage ( I'm SO smooth). We sat at my table and had a cup of tea. I told her that I have no intention of telling anyone, because I'm not interested in anyone knowing that I see escorts. I told her a few years ago had a similar experience with another server from the same place she worked and no one knew who she was to that day (I'm guessing the restaurant should pay better). After a while she calmed down and thanked me for everything and left. I didn't go back to that restaurant for about a year as I didn't want her to stress out if I showed up. All in all not a very exciting encounter, but it worked out for both of us.

So back before Christmas a lady friend and I booked a lady for a 3 some while we were visiting another city. Had a wonderful time and experience.

4 months later we are back in that city and area of town together and it’s a hot day and nice out. I say to my lady friend, ‘is that the same building we were at when we saw ???!??’

I have faced off against this guy and destroyed him in the sport, and in fact he quite likes me. But little does he know...

Back in the 80s the pub in a Vancouver downtown hotel. occasionally had strippers. 98 % of the patrons were men. My GF/partner at the time would join me at the bar after work on Fridays. Part of why I don't see local girls anymore... two that I was interested in seeing, but decided not to, one ended up working for the company that cleans my house, the other for the company that does my landscaping.
