weird area code

guys, whats with all the out of province area code on the site nowadays?? 306,235 ...

plus none of them pick up the phone , insist on text only, even though there's seem to be legit verified photos....

a few times they used other people's instagram photos with no watermark at all...

is the scam running rampant right now.. gee :yuck:

Don't have much experience but i think some of these are texting apps. Might explain why they won't do phonecalls.

I agree it is likely texting apps. That doesn't necessarily mean they are scams (I use a texting app and do text only), it is likely they are part time only, though there is always the possibility of a scam.

Legitimate BC area codes are as follows: 604, 250, 778, 236, and as of May, 672.

Thing is texting apps can have "normal" area codes like 604,778,236. You get to choose. Area code with 235 are Africa generally.. so probably texting app and they put in 235 instead of 236 haha
