slimstyles works for me. I only walk as excercise (but I walk *alot* so it probably works out). Its made by natural factors and is available at many health food stores.

Makes it much easier to seriously cut back on calorie intake w/o suffering severe hunger.

I'm pretty tall so I typically lose 2-3 lb per week using it. The more consistent average from research is 1.5 lb per week.

It works by using water attracting fibre (you drink tons of water with it) which swells inside your stomach to make the 245 calorie shake feel more like an 800 calorie meal. This also balances blood sugar and restores insulin levels in people that are pre-diabetic - this is all from their propaganda but I think can be corroborated from published articles.

Just a little side-note...

There is no such thing as a 'safe maximum weight loss' or anything like that.
But the faster you lose it, the less likely you are to be able to keep it off. In part because anything more than a couple of pounds a week is likely coming from water, not from fat.

I've lost weight, not sure how much cuz I get obsessed with the scales so I gave it away. But, my pants fit way looser now and clients have commented as well as fam/friends.

The thing is...

I AM SO GODDAMN SICK OF EATING SALAD.

I always break down after about three months of strict eating. I do the low-carb thing a la South Beach. Healthy grains etc.... but after a while, I just don't want to eat anything cuz I'm sick of it all.

Any suggestions? Really and truly, I would love to be a tiny girl. I dont' know if I could ever achieve tiny due to my bone structure and frame, but it'd be DAMN nice. There'd be no stopping me then ... haha

Any suggestions? Anybody wanna work me out? I slag at the gym cuz I have crappy motivation for it and it's more fun with another person, but my partners all end up quitting... argh... and yeah it'd be great if I could have the motivation on my own.... but... I don't.
Well, first suggestion is ...
do you have any bad eating habits ie do you like eating candy, chocolate, chips, food with high sugar and carb and/or fast food?
If you do like any or all of the above then for starters, don't eat any of them anymore. Those kinds of foods have high energy which your body would convert to fat because you don't burn all of it or is in such a form that it's tougher for your body to burn so it just stores it away as fat. Put it this way, if you drink a large coke at mcdonald's, you'll have to walk 20MILES to burn that coke off. and that's just the coke ... never mind the burger and fries
You don't have to just eat salads ... there are tons of good food recipes that are easy on the weight and tasty too :) Just avoid the deserts :p

Hmm .... yeah eating late at night is definitely not good for losing weight because you usually go to sleep shortly after and EVERYTHING gets converted to fat.
You know sumo wrestlers bulk up by eating a lot and then sleeping afterwards
Well it looks like you have good eating habits so that's great ... drinking is not that bad unless you are downing double digits in drinks  ... I put away a bottle of wine a week on friday night and it hasn't affected my waistline.
Looks like you have reached some happy equilibrium with what you are doing ... if you want to lose more, you probably have to exercise more though it's gotta be something you can stick to since you are liable to gain it all back if you stop. Yo-yo dieting is really bad and places your body under unnecessary stress.:(

Oh and prob a bad calorie habit I have is drinking on Saturday nights. I wonder how much weight I would lose if I gave that up. But really, I'd be skinny but grumpy and boring!
You grumpy? I doubt it. It is not so much what anyone eats it is more to do with turning up the activity burning calories activities. I can think of at least one way I could help U there.:)

Love your body.

If you want a better body...which is what an sp should strive for ;) then you must respect it and take care of it accordingly. This can never be taken for granted; fitness reflects health, be serious and diligent.

Eat clean and lean. Devote time into a reasonably disciplined routine that you can enjoy and you WILL succeed.

Alcohol (in moderation) is fine BUT "abuse" will virtually destroy your best intentions in getting fit.

AND be good to yourself! :)

Exactly... that's what I meant by the safe maximum... I used the wrong word... basically anything more than 1-2 lbs a week ain't gonna be easy to keep off... if u think about it, 1-2 lbs a week is a lot... slow and sure wins the race for permanent weight loss. If you're 30 lbs overweight, is 15-30 weeks really too long to get to your desired weight if you knew u could keep it off FOR GOOD?
