I use it. It's much better than IE. It has a pop-off blocker built right in, allows you to browse multiple pages without launcing multiple copies of the browser, amongst other features.

The only prob I have with it is a lot of webpages can only be viewed properly with IE. But I consider that bad webpage design rather than problem with the browser.

total newbie re:comps and I am using it and thunderbird instead of outlook ...

easy to set up, can import your bookmarks and addresses for you ... you can then off-load IE and outlook (thanks for the tips Hitrack!) and the nicest thing is that rather than having your internet cache fill up over time with IE, firefox barely loads anything.

downloads are super-fast ... i kept thinking the stupid thing wasn't downloading and kept clicking the download button until i checked and realized that 'boom' it was there.

I haven't encountered a site yet that didn't work properly, though you will notice things look and work differently than you may be used to but its minor ... lots of the pics look clearer and sharper using this for some reason ...

hope that helps.

I use Mozilla, but FireFox also kicks ass. I still find plenty of site that only IE works with, my latest is IRCSPY.

Also with service pack 2 it adds a pop up blocker to IE, plus some other anniying shit. But still no damn tabs.

Mozilla = Netscape? If so, I have been using it since the early 90's. Ditto for the ad-blocker. Best of all, its FREE.

I thought Firefox was the secret Russian fighter jet that Clint Eastwood stole?

I use Firefox and Thunderbird as well on a Linux platform (Fedora Core 2). I found them to be very easy to install and configure. I also like the multiple tabs feature on Firefox which allows you to open multiple web sites each opened under a separate tab so it is very easy to maneuver. Max
