Are we really? There are points in the Bible best not left to literal interpretaton any longer. And if you are basing your 'philosophy' on those points, that is a problem right there.

BTW, this is the internet, after all, where it is quite common for forum posters
to write a lot of stuff that is knowingly and purposely false, for fun, or to invent

As for Clinton, i assume she has money so she doesn't need to dig now. When she was a young
engaged woman maybe she didn't consciously think of her husband only as a source for her future
financial security, but what person isn't interested in that? I guess it depends on how you define
"gold digger". IMO, the love of money, financial security and self above others is pretty universal.
It is my understanding that babies often cry soon after birth. I'd guess that a baby Jesus,
who was without sin from the womb, would not have done that, even if his mom lost her
cool and spanked him for no legitimate reason. Even on the cross he remained a perfect
gentleman, according to the story, but i doubt many of us here could duplicate that.
