Please beware of this conning ASSHOLE.:(

http://sinfulife.com/ AJ SINZ

604-767-8132

Took $550 cash + a lot of my time (I have emails that go back to nov 11th 08)

Did a pathetic photo shoot of me, and has lots of my pics.

Also scammed Nina Porn star for $300.

Myself and her will be getting together to file a small claims lawsuit.

He takes your money, sings a contract and fucks off without responding to any emails, phone calls etc.

Talks a good talk, and even comes through with a few "examples" of his pending work for you, but never actually gives you what you ask for because he doesn't know shit about flash/java script. Knows basic HTML codes and BS's you until you give him as much as he thinks he can get until he fleas.

I was too trusting, and red flags should have went up when he let the cat out of the bag, being a big mouth talking about his other "clients" aka victims!

Other girls he has possibly scammed-

crystal x0x

sinful jasmine

fanta six

I am trying to get a hold crystal & jasmine.

Also, he mentioned knowing a lot of working girls. He says he's lived with many of them.

JESSICAXXX - he mentioned you on several occasions. Didn't say nice things, but if you have any info regarding him please come forth.

Mentioned he knew nikki amore, and billionairess.

This guy is a gossiping con artist.

Also "ashley" on CL is now using HIS cell phone as a contact number seems fishy to me.

Also, his last communication with me, was an excuse for why he didnt call me back. Says the working girl he lives with got evicted because their landlord is her client??

just an FYI- *sigh*

A Question???

Do a lot of SP's have a problem with finding a trustworthy web designer?

I have the impression that SP's trade services a lot when getting sites designed and this isn't motivational for most truly good designers.

In Vancouver you might find 5000 people who say they build web sites. However, it is the same 30 or so companies that get all the work.

I don't want this to sound like a sales pitch or the mods will slam me here, but if there is demand, please PM me. I can refer you to someone that is very trustworthy and will produce your site before taking your money.

Web Krave, Krave Media, Also Scammers!

While we are on the subject of scam artists NEVER EVER do business with Web Krave, Krave Media, or whatever other reinvented name they come up with. They screwed me out of a $1000 and when I pointed this out they had the damn nerve to say to me: "buyer beware"     Nowadays I hear them advertising on the radio, trying to con more hard working individuals. I lodged a complaint with the Surrey Board of Trade for whom they are associated with. Apparently this isn't the first complaint against them, and I was told that Web Krave will be or soon will be dropped (some vindication atleast) I'm usually a laid back fun loving chap, but scamming me out of hard earned cash I really don't appreciate that.

Where did you get this impression? To my knowledge that isn't the norm, but it seems like a lot of guys have that impression or are hoping it is the case. I frequently get unsolicited emails & PMs offering website design in return for my services. Who knows, some of them may be legit, but it does make me wonder if they are just trying to get a freebie... I have always been a bit put off by the idea of doing trades, although I have known the occassional girl who will do trades for all sorts of products & services, everything from mechanic work on her car to a new tv to dental work! I guess I am always thinking if a website designer (or anyone else) wants to see me as a client, why don't they just make an appt with me & pay for it in money, then if I want a website designed I can pay them in money for their services... I guess it just makes me a bit suspicious when someone is not willing to see me unless they don't have to pay for it, even if they are offering to "pay" for it in trade... In a lot of the cases they often don't even have portfolios or anything either... I have gotten a couple of offers like this recently that did seem legit, but am still kind of hesitant... Also, trade or not, I don't really know if I even want a website, since I already seem to have plenty of business without one, it seems like it might just be an unneccessary expense for me at the moment...

I've a full time job and I design websites on the side. I usually get only about 1 client every 2-3 months through word of mouth. So, to answer gigolojake's question: I think many of us don't market ourselves enough. I, for one, don't market myself at all. I really should but I don't know how. I can't answer phone calls/inquiries when I am at work!

Another thing, I think a lot of website developers/designers are technical people (like myself) and aren't really good at selling stuff. Quite a few times, I've made websites for 1/4th of my stated price. If I consider number of hours it takes to do a good website, I think my hourly rate would translate to less-than-minimum wage. This is after a Bachelors+Masters degree in Engineering and a well paid mid-senior level technical job at large company. I know programming/coding but I don't know selling and I suspect that's the case with a lot of other developers/designers who can't seem to be able to find any business.

Maybe I should advertise here on PERB? Do you think it'd be a good idea? Wouldn't ladies/prospective clients be put off if they get my voice-mail during business hours?

I noticed WarezSearch! in the image arianna_royale attached. \

arianna_royale, you seem 'hacker' types. My kind of girl. lol.

ps: I just outed myself as a geek; from experience, it's not very popular with the ladies. Marketing/Management/Arts types seem to get way more attention than geek types like me.

I think some girls may trade services when they first start out but anyone that's been working more than a few months probably would not. I've trades massages for small things, more as a courtesy to clients I know would like to see me more but can not afford it but I wouldn't trade for anything more than that. Like Violet, I'd rather we both pick each other for the right reasons.

That being said, yes, you should see the spam we get. Every day I get minimum 3 companies spamming me to rebuild me a new website and you should see the exorbitant prices they quote. These are dudes who are only mildly good at what they do and know that the women they are targeting are generally not very internet/website savvy so they totally take advantage of them.

They build shit sites that are not SEO, not easy to edit (if at all, as I've seen a lot of sites that are images only), and charge three times as much as it's worth.

A lot of girls are desperate for someone who is creative, not a jerk, will not take advantage of them, and charge something they can afford. Some may be willing to pay $2K+ plus but most would want to pay $500-$700 most likely. Which really should be quite plausible. I mean, escort sites are usually only about 5 pages of content and are best if they are straight forward and clean but with the colours and stylization that shows the girls' personalities.

From the perspective of someone who is currently in the market for a website designer I can say that I would have considered someone who advertised on Perb. In fact, I posted right here in the lounge last month looking for someone who could do a kick-ass ADULT membership site and didn't get much response.

I have an appropriate size budget and have recently been in discussion with someone who came to me through word-of-mouth. Examples of his work are excellent and his rates are reasonable but he's only done one adult membership site. I would have preferred more direct experience.

If anyone feels they are qualified and wants to put themselves forward for consideration please email Talk2MistressT@yahoo.ca.

Please give examples of your work and a rough price range for about 7 pages including a paid members only video and image gallery and a user-friendly back end.

A good website is an invaluable marketing tool that pays for itself in no time. It should be a no-brainer for any working girl and I suspect the right web designer could make a lot of money advertising here on Perb...but only if he gets good reviews! *wink*

I'd email but I've only done work for SMBs and some large companies (subcontracted to me by bigger contractors so it's not officially credited to me). I have done nothing for adult-industry yet.

I'm sorry to see this. Distressing to see people taken advantage of in this regards. From my recent experience where I was on the other end of the stick (I did all the work and the girl ended up not paying me-claiming after months of praise and positive feedback that it was all crap, yet she contiunes to use all the work I did) I learned a few things. One, don't put cash forward unless the work is done. Two don't do the work unless your sure the cash is going to be available. Three offer to pay in installments. If the work will take 4 months to do, then pay or charge by month with a shown level of work being completed. IE-photoshoot, then photo editting, then website design, then website implementation and maintence. Each step with each completed work would result in a payment.

Also, word of mouth is a good thing. Good web designed can provide examples of work but they should also be able to provide references as well. I'd always ask for those references or try to obtain them yourself.

As for expecting services in payment...I think its disgusting to hear of it, especially in my profession. I expect cash or other trades (I'm willing to accept a nice dinner in exchange for a minor software/hardware repair or consultation) but sexual services are out of bounds and I really hesitiate even when its propositioned by the other party.

well it is confirmed, crystal x0x was also scammed for a hefty $2000!

Exact same scenario, promises this and that then fucks off with what he thinks he can get out of you..

Police say my situation is "buyer beware", and my contract with him is pretty much voided since AJ SINZ is not his real name :(

Also, please be cautious...when seeing any girls who work out of his in call. I have heard information that disturbs me, about his involvement with young girls. I will go on record with saying I caught the "pimp wannabee" vibe when dealing with him, and always wondered why he "raved" about knowing so many girls in the industry.

I agree with katlyn, that you should be able to have a decent site made from $500-$700. Five basic pages, with a photo gallery, and contact form.

Given that there are so many free website templates, and ones that charge between $10.00-$30.00/year to upgrade it, and get your own domain name, it shouldn't be hard.

Websites such as photog100 that charge anywhere from $1000-$3000, are great yes...but out of someone's price range who plans on retiring soon.

also I would like to mention I did NOT barter with aj for his services. I contacted him, and inquired for a website on nov 08. I payed him his quoted rate, and received absolutely FUCK ALL.

{the photo shoot was courtesy of him- go figure..I wouldn't be surprised to see bad angled/altered pics of me up somewhere}

I do not barter, and never will.

Please spread the word on this asshole.

I was under the impression that Sinfullife is Sinful Jasmine's company, or that she is involved with it. But I may be wrong.
Her ads on one of the local ad sites have been replaced for ads for Sinfullife, and her website redirects to Ashley's site now.

Maybe you can contact her and see if she can give you some info.

Yes it seems that aj and sinful jasmine had/have relations, so I am just assuming she was apart of sinfulife (or they had a falling out) and aj decided to replace her with ashley lol..

Jasmine's cell phones have been off all week, and one is disconnected.

who knows.

all I know is myself and two other people I know got screwed over in the exact same way to a "t". same guilt trip stories, same upsell to get pictures of us, same excuses why he didn't have a real photographers cameras, or access to his lap top, dying family cat, hospitalized gf who tried to commit suicide bla bla

:(

thanks for bringing that to my attention rob :)
