It's mostly family friendly area....but shop wise it's just like vancouver. Do not go to the strip club, it's worse than the ones here....shops that do offer massage is run by either japanese or chinese. They also post signs explicitly saying they do not offer any "extra services". This is more for the main island Honolulu.

I was there a few years ago. Went for a walk and a few drinks. If you walk behind where the international market place once was. That's like the second Street back from the main shopping street. 2 different girls asked me if I wanted company. Both were hot. I did not partake as I was only looking for some exotic dancing.
