Vogue girls gone rogue?

I noticed Evie Lane formerly of VC seems to have gone indie. However, I recently saw a LL ad for Layla Ambrielle, also formerly of VC, post an ad on LL that appears to seem as she has gone indie.

However, both Evie and Layla's ad are posted from the same phone number and have an email that seems to be connected to vogue.

I am terribly confused. Are these girls indie now but using the same handler or something to set up appointments? Or are the ads and phone number from vogue changed?

I have been seeing Layla for 2 years now she has gone independent. My favorite SP in Victoria highly recommend visiting her when you have the chance
Just to confirm, were you talking about this Layla?"

You guys need to realize “agencies” are not what the used to be , there’s a few “agencies “ who are all friends , sharing a condo or Air b&b & email address & not much more then that.
Everyone wants to be “indy” , so if you have somewhere else cheaper (aka you get to keep all your money ) you can work you’re gonna .

After listening to the Harvey wall bangers crappy stand up comedy routine at amateur night, I have better appreciation for these women going Indy. When the madame admit and jokes about pimping and making $$ off these same girls. I’d go rogue too.
Harvey did stand up ?! Where and when? lol

I wonder why some of the more established agency providers don’t go indie. Are they struggling to find incalls?

Think about real estate prices in Victoria and you have a pretty good clue.
I wonder why some of the more established agency providers don’t go indie. Are they struggling to find incalls?
Cost of course . Is #1
when I started I could easily afford my own incall apartment alone at $600-$800 a month & a home ($1400 monthly ) easy peesy
… not a chance now if you’re starting out. I’ve been on both sides of the desk . There’s a ton of girls who think they’re “ only in the business to make some quick money “ who don’t want the overhead.
Some travel a lot and don’t want to be tied down to the one incall .
And good luck passing all the numerous requirements you need to qualify to rent these days . In a condo or apt someone who doesn’t want you there is ALWAYS watching. Most young girls starting out want that protection having a desk person & a potential security that’s behind the walls of proper establishments. Not chased out personally & the embarrassment of nosy neighbours.
It’s a very unsettling indiscreet situation. But yes of course , I’ve been Indy since the beginning (18 years ago ) and the pros way out weigh the cons if you can manage it .

Not to mention, how much work being independent takes. I spend about $1000 or more a month on advertising. Between 2 ads on tryst, 6 ads on leolist, and here. I’m on the vancouver side but close to Richmond. I offer massage, bdsm, and escort services.

If you have kids at home or grown kids that might drop by to visit without knocking, you need 2 apartments. In this market, that’s $3000 to $5000 a month. And then you have to furnish the second apartment.

maybe a few girls can get a place together but then that’s a lot of traffic and neighbors are gonna notice.

Even tho, I don’t show my face, I won’t make as much money if I don’t have accurate recent pictures everywhere. And so many gents want to see a social media presence. So there’s selfies, I need to take and post publicly. I have been recognized a few times from people i didn’t necessarily want to know my business. I’m resigned to it these days. I don’t need to cross the border and money is apparently more important to me than hiding, lol. I’m still not showing my face tho as I think of my landlord and future landlords.

It’s a full time job being independent and requires a bit of responsibility and effort.

To work for a place, you just need to show up, buy some cute or sexy outfits, and bring condoms and lube.

i miss the easiness and the camaraderie of a busy parlor. The right place can be fun and very lucrative. It’s boring and lonely being independent haha. Plus I haven’t had a duo partner in forever and a day. I have no new working girl friends. All my best friends, I met through the trade

But I also wouldn’t change being independent for the world.

Sorry for the long novel. I didn’t set out to say so much haha

It's actually really nice/insightful to hear the lesser known realities from your side of the equation. Thanks for sharing your experiences.

Huge +1 to this & echo the props to Fiona & Harmony for sharing their experience. I really appreciate it when SPs share their realities & constraints like this and it doesn't happen nearly enough on this board.

Take a look at the advertising part of this forum. Check out the places that hire women, check out Asian Fever. I think it says it charges 70/client for an sp . Do the math for a 1 bedroom apartment. With 2 women working (having 3-4 clients a day). 70 X 3 X 2 X 20 days =8400. Minus expenses (say 5000 rent, condoms, hot water and heat, laundry), that 3400 profit. That is with 6 clients going into apartment over 20 days (for 120 clients a month). This does not cover what the lady charges and makes. The profit goes up the more clients that show up in a month.
This is good if you don't have nosy neighbours.

Hey everyone,

I figured it was finally time to clarify a few things to avoid any confusion going forward.

We are a group of independent providers who work collaboratively. This is different from a traditional agency and we are unaffiliated with any other group or organization.

We operate from shared condo spaces and pool resources to make things more cost effective and efficient. Everyone still works for themselves— think of it as a business collective where resources are shared, but each contractor operates independently on their own terms.

The phone number and email being the same in some ads is simply part of a shared booking system for those who choose to use it, similar to how some independent providers use assistants or receptionists to handle calls. There’s no "handler" or agency— just a collaborative approach to help with effectiveness, for those who prefer it.

I’m currently handling most of the phone work, but this isn’t a one-person operation—there’s a lot that happens behind the scenes, and many of us contribute in different ways to help build and keep things running smoothly. Eventually, clients may get a different person handling reception, but rest assured—it will always be an adorable provider on the other end of the line.

We’ll soon have a website where everything will be laid out more clearly, but just to clarify—Violet has not joined the team. Thanks for reading and for your interest! I wanted to avoid any rumours or mix-ups, by getting the right information out there :)

Not everyone sees 4 clients a day, especially in the small town of victoria. Also Especially in the winter/slow season. 4 clients in a day is a great day for most escorts. And is a high season type of day, FYI. :)

Thanks for the update, Frankie! Appreciate the clarification. I wish you and the other girls success in this new endeavor and hope to see some of you soon. You and I actually texted back and forth about a booking a while ago but unfortunately I had to cancel due to illness - but you are an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Round of applause for this articulate and thoughtful explanation! Collectives are most definitely the way of the future.
