visiting near future need advice?

hi visiting Edmonton in the next few weeks, need some advice.

1) where to stay with good concentration of mp's in srtiking distance?
2)what are going rates for tipping?
3)suggestions on any msog?more bang for the buck.

If you are staying in a hotel it will be a great opportunity for you to meet Alexandria. That way the cost of the hotel is already taken care off.

As far as a hotel location close to mp`s you can either stay downtown or somewhere in the Calgary trail area. Look at the websites for the locations.

By staying downtown, you'll also be a centralized location that would enable you to reach most MPs within a 15 or 20 minute drive.

goesks: isn't the room fee included as part of the two browns? That's what I'm often quoted.

I'd vote for Downtown for the above mentioned reasons (except I'd steer clear of Kama Sutra). Also if you are downtown you are a quick cab ride to pretty well any studio you want to visit.


Herm, if you can walk to Prestige from the Chateau Edmonton today you'd be suffering from severe shrinkage.

Closest from the Westin is Penthouse, head west on Jasper, go just past the Paramount Theatre(is it still there?)......right next to a vacant space for lease.......

Penthouse is on Jasper Ave and between 103 and 104 Streets. It's just a couple of doors down from a Second Cup. Look for a large green sign on top of the building...you can't miss it!
